The Ellora Art and Craft Society of Assam is a registered Society working for popularizing the art, craft, drawing and painting not only as a hobby but also as a precious skill which in the long run can be a way to livelihood, if pursued diligently and honestly. The Society envisages a scenario where drawing and painting are adopted as a part of the school curriculum and thereby giving the students a platform to learn this art. Besides, the Society is also endeavoring to spread the panorama of drawing and painting in the rural areas by motivating the people and conducting training programmes for the budding talents including for those children who are physically handicapped. It is worth mentioning that the Society has the distinction of having the internationally famed artist, painter and sculptor of the country Rabin Bar as one of its member. It is the cherished desire of Bar to motivate the younger generation of the country, particularly of Assam, to learn the art of drawing and painting with dedication to express their beautiful vision.
