🩺 World Patient Safety Day 2026 | Safe Care for Non-Communicable Diseases

Empowering communities with knowledge for safer care and better health. ❤️

On the occasion of World Patient Safety Day 2026, the B.Sc. Nursing 8th Semester students of Hayat Institute of Nursing Education (HINE) conducted a health education session on this year’s theme, “Safe Care for Non-communicable Diseases,” at Moinakhurung Model Hospital, Pamohi, Moinakhurung, Guwahati Metro.

The session focused on creating awareness about safe and appropriate care for people living with non-communicable diseases, while highlighting the importance of patient awareness, timely care and responsible healthcare practices.

Such community-based activities provide our nursing students with valuable practical exposure while encouraging them to contribute towards health education, patient safety and community well-being. 🌿

🥗 Poshan Maah Celebration | HINE Students at Moinakhurung Anganwadi Centre

Promoting nutrition, awareness and healthy beginnings in the community. 🌱

As part of Poshan Maah, students of Hayat Institute of Nursing Education (HINE) conducted a community-focused celebration at Moinakhurung Anganwadi Centre, Gorchuk, on 14 September.

The initiative focused on creating awareness about the importance of proper nutrition, healthy eating habits and child health, while giving our nursing students an opportunity to engage with the community and contribute towards building a healthier future.

Through such activities, HINE continues to encourage students to carry the values of care, compassion and community service beyond the classroom. ❤️

Educational Visit to Sacred Heart Palliative Care Centre

Students of Hayat Institute of Nursing Education visited Sacred Heart Palliative Care Centre as part of an educational visit, gaining valuable exposure to the principles and practices of palliative care.

The visit provided students with an opportunity to understand the importance of compassionate care, pain management, emotional support, dignity and holistic well-being in the care of patients and their families.
