A Visit to Freshair Bio Waste Management Center:
As part of our Environmental Studies curriculum at the Regional College of Health Sciences (BSc MLT), our students recently visited the Freshair Bio Waste Management Center in Chandrapur — an experience that left us both enlightened and inspired!
The team at Freshair not only explained the importance of segregation, recycling, and composting but also showcased how scientific innovation is turning waste into worth.
One of the most fascinating takeaways was learning about futuristic methods of converting plastic into diesel — a groundbreaking approach that redefines recycling and offers hope for a cleaner planet. Seeing science in action reminded our future medical lab technologists how interdisciplinary knowledge can create real-world impact.
It was heartening to see them connect classroom learning with tangible, community-driven solutions.
A big thank you to the Freshair Bio Waste Management Center for their warmth, expertise, and dedication to building a sustainable future. Experiences like these reinforce our belief that education goes beyond textbooks — it’s about awakening curiosity and fostering change.
