Here is a short video recapping one of the lessons I recently gave. With this student we are working on maximizing his ability to create speed.
He is already swinging the club relatively fast but now we need to add consistency to the equation to see an outcome in scoring.

HOW TO HIT A HIGH PITCH SHOT AROUND THE GREENS

- take your highest lofted wedge
- open up the clubface
- open your stance
- swing like a pitch shot

SWAYING VS TURING IN THE BACKSWING

In this video I go over what happens with the body when we sway vs when we rotate the lower body in the downswing.

Swaying will automatically put you in a position from where it is tough to transition and hit the ball solidly !

Rotating the lower body puts the body in a better position from where you can easily transition into the follow through and control the strike on the ball.

Be patient with this and see the results for yourself 💪🏼💪🏼

On-Course Situations:

In this video I go over setting up for a tee shot on a challenging hole.

Having swing thoughts while you’re standing on the tee of a hole you’re not confident with doesn’t always work. However, a slight change in perspective can definitely help.

Be smart about which side of the tee you want to play from and it will pay off.
