It feels good to acknowledge the efforts of teachers like Mr. Sharad Pandey, who managed to help students continue their learning in difficult times through DigiLEP.
DigiLEP, a state government initiative by the Education Department of Madhya Pradesh, enable access to lessons on the WhatsApp groups. It has helped students to continue their learning during lockdown. Moreover, to add value to 'Hamara Ghar - Hamara Vidyalaya' (Our Home, Our School) initiative, we should strive to give students access to offline digital learning content as well. With this, we will be able to empower students to learn anywhere anytime.

In PC Free Smart Class, we have explicitly focused on providing multiple Categories of offline digital Content like:
a) Animated Videos with real-life connections to deepen the conceptual understanding of students.
b) DIY Project videos for practical learning where students learn to create experiments and models using easily available material around them.
c) Syllabus books and a rich book library with poems, picture books, and inspirational stories to improve life skills of students.
d) Assessment questions for an interactive classroom experience and for a quick check topic wise conceptual understanding of both teachers and students.
Visual learning has improved students' ability to learn, hypothesise & comprehend. Hence learning through PC Free Smart Class has made teaching easy for teachers and is helping students retain concepts for a longer time.

To achieve better learning outcomes, we need to engage students in learning; that is, learning by seeing, where students get to experience the concepts that their teacher is teaching.
One way this can be done is by empowering teachers to supplement their teaching with digital content on a screen available in the classroom.
With PC Free Smart Class, we made the process even more simplified for the teachers where they just have to switch sides, turn on the TV, search for the right video lesson on the relevant topic & that's it. All set to resume the class

Shadaf, a 6-Year-old dumb and deaf child, fought his battle to learn on his own through an educational tablet. Internal motivation in students like Shadaf is highly desirable. His strong willpower and desire for learning were greatly enhanced by looking at the digital content provided on his tablet.
“He never used to watch learning content; he only used to access youtube to watch cartoon videos”, said Shadaf's mother. She further added, “But now, he spends most of his time watching videos and DIY lessons given on his tablet. He also tries to talk like people do in the animated videos. I feel motivated to see my child happy and learning. I believe that tablets have strengthened the zeal of special students like Shadaf to learn and grow in their lives.

Training session for Govt School teachers in Haryana where a smart class has been set up with just a smart TV and a oen drive plugged in and preloaded with Hindi medium content for Haryana State Board.
Extremely easy to set up and just like teachers use TV at home, they can comfortably operate this Smart Class with a remote

Simple habits like washing hands are the key to battling both, and it has never been more important to inculcate hygiene habits in our children!
