HOMEOPATHIC AWARENESS

HKE'S DR MAALAKARADDY HOMEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL celebrated “INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY” from 7th to 12th March 2026 under the theme “Give to Gain.” The objective of the program was to promote awareness on women’s empowerment, health, and the role of women in society through educational engagement and community service.
The celebration began on 7th march with an Essay Writing Competition for staff and students based on the theme “Give to Gain”. Participants expressed their perspectives on the significance of empowering women and contributing positively to society.
On 9th March , Continuing Medical Education (CME) program was organized by Medical Education cell. The session was delivered by Dr. I. Amruta Swati, who shared valuable insights on topics related to women’s health and empowerment.
On 10th March , a Rangoli and Poster presentation Competition was conducted for staff and students reflecting the theme “Gift to Gain.” Participants beautifully depicted the role, strength, and contributions of women in society through artistic designs.
In addition, the hospital in collaboration with OBG department organized a Women’s Health Camp from 9th March to 12th March . The camp was conducted for four days between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, focusing on health awareness, screening, and guidance related to women’s health.
Overall, the week-long celebration successfully combined academic learning, creative participation, and healthcare awareness, reinforcing the importance of women’s empowerment and health. The programs witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty, making the International Women’s Day celebration meaningful and impactful.

On 29/01/2026, students of the Department of Community Medicine, HKES Dr. Maalakreddy Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Kalaburagi, actively participated in a Free Health Check-up Camp at Siddharth Deaf and Dumb School, opposite University Gate, Kalaburagi.

The camp provided students with valuable hands-on community exposure, fostering empathy, communication skills, and a sense of social responsibility while delivering essential healthcare services.
