Established in 1980 , Khaja Banda Nawaz College of Engineering is a minority institution. Gulbarga university had granted permanent affiliation, which is given to very few institutions . The college is affiliated to Visveswaraiah Technology University since 1998 and has been recognized by the AICTE , New Delhi. The College campus is extended over 12.6 acres of land excluding 13 acres which are ded

icated for play grounds, Presently, the College offers seven streams of engineering under - graduate course leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Engineering ( B.E ) and Post - Graduate courses in Computer Science & Engineering. The administration of the College is looked after by a governing council consisting of eminent educationists, headed by its Chairman - Dr .

Confession #1 -> Moment i landed in Gulbarga from station to College area i had only one thing in mind to change the college to some other location, it was raining heavy, there was this digging happening near the college, no place to walk, pathetic thoughts to just get the hell put of the place, i now confess that i took the best decision of life holding back myself there or i was held by the place, what ever i have learnt i am very great full to KBNCE. Proud Hostellite !!
