We are immensely proud to announce that our undergraduate students have made a remarkable mark on the international research stage.
At the International Research Conference on Big Data Analytics and Visualization (IRCBDAV 2026) in Thane, organised by St Wilfred's College of Computer Science —two teams from our B.Sc. Computational Science department showcased their innovative work in AI-driven healthcare.
The Highlights:
🥇 Best Research Paper Award: Awarded to Sai Giridhar (3rd B.Sc.) guided by Dr. Sathyanarayanan S (Associate Professor) and Suhas (Research Scholar), for their paper on Early Hypertension Detection.
📜 International Presentation: Kartik Waghmode and Sudarshan Jalamanchi (3rd B.Sc.) successfully presented their research on Explainable AI for Heart Disease Prediction.
This is a significant milestone—the first time students from our Kalaburagi campus have presented and won at an international conference. It reflects our mission of blending academic excellence with societal benefit.
