Under the visionary leadership of Dr. B.V. Ram Kumar, Niepid Model Special Education Centre Noida successfully conducted a 3-days free offline CRE Training Programme on “Training on NIEPID Disha Curriculum” from 5th to 7th May 2026. A total of 68 special educators from 14 special schools/institutions from different states participated in the programme.
The training included sessions on IEP, Disha Portal, curriculum-based activities, pedagogy approaches, and classroom management strategies. Practical sessions and onboarding training on the Disha Portal were also provided to the participants. During the programme, 545 Students’ Workbooks and 74 Teacher Manuals of the NIEPID Disha Curriculum were distributed for the benefit of children with intellectual disabilities. The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Meena Pahwa.

Duration: 27th April 2026 to 6th May 2026. Timings:10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
A 10-day Summer Camp was organized at MSEC from 27th April 2026 to 6th May 2026 with the objective of providing students with opportunities for holistic development through creative, physical, and life-skill activities. The camp aimed to nurture talent, build confidence, and promote teamwork among participants.
A diverse range of activities was planned and executed by trained teachers to cater to varied interests:
Activities undertaken as follows:-
Dance & Drama- Students learnt basic dance forms and participated in short skits. Focused on expression, rhythm, and stage confidence.
Painting :-Covered watercolor, poster color, and freehand drawing. Theme-based art like 'Nature' and 'My Summer' was encouraged.
Craft Activities- Included paper craft, best out of waste, bag and envelopes making diya decorations to enhance fine motor skills and creativity.
Sports:-Age-appropriate games like fun games, Bocchi games, relay races, to promote physical fitness and team spirit.
Photography:- Basics of framing, lighting, and mobile and video photography were introduced.
Non-Fire Cooking:- Students, prepared sandwiches, bhel, salads, and lemonade. Focused on nutrition, hygiene, and basic kitchen safety.
Yoga & Aerobics:- Daily sessions were conducted to improve flexibility, concentration, and stamina. Included breathing exercises and simple routines.
A total of 116 students averagely participated daily in the above-mentioned summer camp. The Summer Camp concluded successfully on 6th May 2026.

Niepid Model Special Education Centre Noida, organised a Job Fair in collaboration with Youth for Jobs Foundation on 4th May 2026 for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PwID) and students undergoing Vocational Training and Employability Skill Training programmes.
The programme witnessed the participation of 35 parents with their PwID wards , including those from two batches of Food and Beverages and parents of vocational classes students.22 students appeared for interviews and submitted their required documents.
An orientation programme was also conducted, during which participants were informed about the recruitment process and the support provided by Youth for Jobs Foundation for PwID, including opportunities in self-employment.
Professionals from the Vocational Training Centre, Karkardooma, and BigBasket were present to conduct interviews and interact with the students.

An interactive Painting program was organised at NIEPID-Model Special Education Centre (MSEC) for the visit of professionals from Dynata Company on 27th April 2026. A total of 50 students with special needs actively participated in a structured painting activity conducted during the session.
The representatives from Dynata engaged positively with the students, encouraging creativity and acknowledging their efforts. Certificates and goodie bags were distributed to all participants, which further motivated and delighted the students.
The team also visited the school wing and CDEIC unit, where they observed ongoing academic, therapeutic and co-curricular activities, as well as the facilities available at the centre. They expressed appreciation for the overall functioning of the institution and were particularly impressed by the inclusive and supportive learning environment.
The students remained highly engaged throughout the program and demonstrated enthusiasm in all activities. The visiting team conveyed their satisfaction upon witnessing the work being carried out at NIEPID MSEC and appreciated the institution’s continued efforts towards the empowerment and holistic development of students with special needs.

निपिड क्षेत्रीय केंद्र एवं मॉडल विशेष शिक्षा केंद्र, नोएडा द्वारा, संयुक्त रूप से, 02 अप्रैल 2026 को विश्व ऑटिज़्म जागरूकता दिवस के अवसर पर विभिन्न कार्यक्रमों का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर जागरूकता, समावेशन एवं सहभागिता को बढ़ावा देने हेतु विद्यार्थियों, अभिभावकों एवं स्टाफ की सक्रिय भागीदारी रही। कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत सेक्टर-40, नोएडा में आयोजित जागरूकता रैली से हुई, जिसमें प्रतिभागियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लेकर समाज को ऑटिज़्म के प्रति संवेदनशील बनाने का संदेश दिया। इसके पश्चात ऑटिज़्म से जुड़े बच्चों के लिए चित्रकला गतिविधि योजित की गई, जिसमें बच्चों ने अपनी रचनात्मक अभिव्यक्ति प्रस्तुत की। अभिभावकों के लिए ऑनलाइन प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया, जिसमें विशेषज्ञों द्वारा ऑटिज़्म से संबंधित महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी एवं मार्गदर्शन प्रदान किया गया। ऑटिज्म की जागरूकता हेतु, ब्लू कलर ड्राइव के अंतर्गत सभी स्टाफ सदस्य एवं छात्रों ने नीले रंग के परिवेश को धारण भी किया।
पूरे कार्यक्रम में लगभग 250 प्रतिभागियों ने भागीदारीता सुनिश्चित कराई।
