I am being absolutely thrilled and overjoyed to have been awarded the Jagdish N. Sheth Best Thesis Award 2022 at BIMTECH. This is truly an incredible honor and has made all the hard work and dedication I put into my research worth it. This has been a challenging journey but also an incredibly rewarding experience.
Thank you to the jury for recognizing the value and contribution of my research work. My heartfelt special thanks to my guide and mentor Dr. Anuj Sharma Sir who played a crucial role in guiding me through this journey. I am also thankful to Dr. A.K. Dey Sir, Dr. A. Sahay Sir, Dr. Anupam Varma for their valuable inputs and subject matter expertise. I would also like to thank Director Sir, Dr. Harivansh Chaturvedi and the Chairperson of the Fellow Program, Dr. Arvind Shukla Sir for their constant support and encouragement.

I am feeling excited and honored upon reading this communication. I am feeling gratitude towards God. My sincere thanks to Prof. Dey and Prof. Sahay for guiding me throughout the doctoral journey which seemed endless at one point in time. Their valuable teaching and coaching guided me in the tough times and helped me to become a lifelong learner and a better human being. I strongly believe that this prestigious award goes to Prof. Dey and Prof. Sahay much more than it goes to me. I am thankful to my Parents for their immense emotional and moral support. "A doctoral journey is exhausting and you feel like quitting multiple times. There are days of despair and days of anger. But then there are days that make it all worth it. I am honoured and humbled to have my work recognised by the Jury of BIMTECH Jagdish Sheth Best Thesis Award this year.

However, it is a journey that cannot be embarked alone. From family that doesn't let you give up, and mentors who help you find your way, to friends who make sure you eat. You just can't do it alone, it is a group effort.
I am full of gratitude not just for this recognition but because it is during my Doctoral studies at BIMTECH that I found my passion. It has made me who I am and I can't thank enough for it."

Good bye Dr Subhanjan Sengupta!

Today BIMTECH bid farewell to Dr. Subhanjan Sengupta, a faculty member who is moving to the University of Eastern Finland. Incidentally Dr Subhjanjan had joined BIMTEH on this very day seven years back. It was indeed an occasion of mixed feelings for all. Dr Sengupta contributed immensely to BIMTECH in terms of teaching, research and various other responsibilities including that of being the Coordinator of the Fellow Programme in Management at BIMTECH. Among those who attended the farewell were Dr. H. Chaturvedi, Director, BIMTECH, Deputy Director Dr. Anupam Verma, Registrar Dr. K.C.Arora, Chairperson Doctoral Programmes Dr. A.V. Shukla, Head, Dr. Manosi Chaudhry Professor of the OB/HR Area, Dr. Rahul Singh, Chairperson, Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Prof. Abhijit K Chattoraj Dean, SW & SS and Chairperson, Insurance Business Management, Dr. Ramani, Chairperson , Business Management Programme and Ms. Reeti Kulshrestha, Research Scholar at BIMTECH and an FPM scholar working with Dr. Subhanjan Sengupta. All those present spoke very highly about Dr Subhanjan’s qualities of head and heart. They highlighted his sincerity, dedication to teaching and research and his thorough preparedness approach in general. Everyone wished him all the best for his future endeavours and a bright career ahead.
