Aster School, Sector 3, Noida Extension, hosted a capacity building programme today to strengthen teachers’ understanding of effective instructional practices. The sessions focused on clear teaching objectives, meaningful learning outcomes, and learner-centred pedagogies that enhance classroom engagement and academic achievement.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome song and Ganesh Vandana, creating a dignified and auspicious atmosphere. The guest Ms. Yashika Bhardwaj was felicitated by Principal Dr. Sharbari Banerjee and Vice Principal Mrs.Rachna Shukla, setting a warm and respectful tone for the day’s proceedings.

The second speaker, Dr. Sharbari Banerjee, spoke on innovative pedagogical approaches, including team-based, inquiry-based, and lab-based learning. She emphasized how these methods promote collaboration, critical thinking, exploration, and experiential learning.
The program featured engaging discussions and practical insights, encouraging teachers to move beyond conventional methods and adopt more participative and student-centred classroom practices which was highly enriching and professionally rewarding. It provided teachers with practical strategies for planning effective lessons, framing clear learning objectives, and implementing innovative pedagogies.
