Beaming with passion and blooming with energy , class 2 A and 2 B students performed ‘ Show and Tell’ activity nicely in the class. Children participated with full zeal and enthusiasm. This activity encouraged students to speak for mass audience and gain confidence. It helped them to develop their speaking skills.

Football is not just about goal tallies but also inspiration and style! Sports and games offer useful lessons for players about the importance of teamwork, preparation, passion, attitude, definitions of success, dealing with failure and having a sense of humor at the end of the day.
Aster Public School , Greater Noida, is over the moon and proud to announce that ten school players have been selected for School Games Federation of India (SGFI) National Championship as talent is ripe in the squad this season. The selected players will be part of the U.P. team for the upcoming SGFI National Championship to be held in Karnataka from 26th-29th April 2018.

Today, the team has left for Karnataka along with the Sports Incharge-Mr. Yogender, with their heads held high.This opportunity will provide the players to showcase their skills at the National arena. The opportunity will also help the selected players to gain more experience for many more upcoming championships.

Keeping pace with the above quote, an Inter House Science Symposium was conducted on 2nd May, 2018 in the school auditorium and the topic for the same was ‘Bio-Pharmaceutical’. The aim of the symposium was to instill analytical and logical ability among the students. Contestants of different houses participated zealously and impressed the audience with their confidence.The occasion was graced by the presence of our Academic Advisor, Mr. S. P. Singh Sir and our School Principal, Mr. Sunil Saxena.
All the participants were fully prepared and did tremendously well.
Mr. S. P. Singh addressed the students with a motivational speech and his broadened vision. He advised the contestants to develop a scientific temper for pursuing knowledge to contribute towards making India one of the most developed countries in the world. The result was announced by our School Principal- Mr. Sunil Saxena,
The proud winner of this competition was Nehru House. Second position was bagged by Tagore House and Shastri House stood third. This programme ended with a vote of thanks given by V.Principal, Mrs. Preeti Sharma
Thus the programme was a grand success as it was able to throw the light of knowledge upon the students. .

CLASS 12TH STUDENTS OF ASTER PUBLIC SCHOOL, GREATER NOIDA ATTENDED A CAREER COUNSELLING WORKSHOP CONDUCTED BY DPS, GREATER NOIDA ON 1ST MAY, 2018. SENIOR STUDENTS FROM VARIOUS LEADING SCHOOLS OF GREATER NOIDA BECAME A PART OF IT. THE WORKSHOP WAS ORGANIZED WITH THE AIM OF DISPELLING THE DOUBTS AND QUALMS OF THE STUDENTS REGARDING HIGHER STUDIES AND TO GIVE THEM EXPOSURE TO VARIOUS CAREER OPTIONS.
THE RESOURCE PERSON, MR. JITIN CHAWLA STARTED THE SESSION WITH REAL LIFE EXPERIENCES FOLLOWED BY AN INTERACTIVE SESSION WITH THE STUDENTS ASKING THEIR AIMS AND ASPIRATIONS IN LIFE.
PROMINENT SPEAKERS FROM IIHM, RAMAGYA INSTITUTE, DELHI UNIVERSITY AND FULL SAIL UNIVERSITY, FLORIDA GUIDED THE STUDENTS FOR VARIOUS CAREER OPTIONS (AND THEIR RELATED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS) WHICH THEY CAN OPT FOR, LIKE CAREER IN AVIATION ENGINEERING, BUSINESS MANAGEMENT, COMMERCIAL DESIGNING, PUBLIC RELATIONS, MEDICINES, FOOD TECHNOLOGY, HOTEL MANAGEMENT ETC.
IT WAS FOLLOWED BY AN OPEN SESSION, WHERE STUDENTS ASKED THEIR QUERIES COMFORTABLY AND WERE ANSWERED SATISFACTORILY. OVER ALL THE SESSION WAS AWAKENING AND INFORMATIVE.

An Intramural Ceremony was conducted in the school premises today to develop positive attitudes and to practice good citizenship. The Student and House Council were appointed as the Council Members. Umesh Kaushik and Drishti Rai were appointed as the Head Boy and Head Girl from the Senior Wing. While from the Junior Wing B.Manivasagam and Shreya Nitin Banker were the Head Boy and Head Girl respectively.

Topic: ‘Is it living?’ The idea was to make the students aware about living things and non- living things. The characteristics of living things and non-living things were explained through this activity.

EVS Class Activity - 'My Body'. Different parts of the body and sense organs were shown by the students with the help of placards. They enjoyed the activity thoroughly.

Aster Public School, Greater Noida was all set to witness the memorable and colourful inauguration ceremony of the third ‘Smt. Angoori Devi Memorial Aster Cricket Tournament', Under-18 Category for the year 2018-19, which was held in the sprawling ground of the school on 16th April, 2018 under the auspices of the school Director Siddhartha Sharma, School Academic Advisor, Mr. S. P. Singh, Principal Mr. Sunil Saxena and Vice-Principal Ms. Preeti Sharma. The Chief Guest Mr. S.P Singh and the guest of honour Mr Manjeet Singh and Mr Azad graced the event by their presence and inaugurated the tournament.
The First and the Second Smt. Angoori Devi Memorial Cricket Tournamnet, held last years were a massive success taking the institution to great heights. When it comes to sports, Aster Public School is at the peak not only in Greater Noida and NCR region but is the shining star in the entire North Zone. A total of Sixteen teams from the leading schools of Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad namely, Aster Public School Greater Noida) B.B.C Global School Sikandrabad, J.P. International School (Greater Noida), Vanasthali School (Ghaziabad) Modern School Barakhamba (Delhi) JBM Global School (Noida), Rishabh Public School (Delhi), Assisi Convent School (Noida), Aster Public School (Noida Extension), Genisis Global School (Noida), Mayoor School (Noida), G.D. Goenka (Ghaziabad), Ryan International School (Greater Noida), G.R. Global School (Dadri), Karl Huber School (Noida), Pathways International School (Noida) will be participating in the tournament. The inaugural match was played between the host school, Aster Public School,Greater Noida and B. B. C. Global School Sikandrabad.The matches will be played on league cm knock out basis in four pools.
The Chief Guest, Mr. S.P Singh and all the dignitaries present conveyed their best wishes to all the teams and motivated them to put the best foot forward to win the tournament.
