🌍 *Learning Waste Segregation – A Step Towards a Cleaner Earth!* ♻️

Our young learners enthusiastically participated in an engaging activity on *waste segregation*. They were introduced to the importance of keeping their surroundings clean by using different-coloured dustbins.

Children confidently explained the use of each bin:
💚 *Green Bin* – for wet waste (food scraps, peels)
💙 *Blue Bin* – for dry waste (paper, plastic, cans)
❤️ *Red Bin* – for hazardous waste (medical or harmful items)

Through hands-on learning and interactive discussions, the children understood how small habits can make a big difference in protecting our environment. 🌱

Empowering Futures: Career Counselling Program at Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida

Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida, organized an enriching Student Career Counselling Program on 23rd April for the students of Classes XI and XII, with the objective of guiding them towards informed and meaningful career choices.

The program witnessed the presence of esteemed delegates from leading institutions such as Ecole Intuit Lab, IIAD, KR Mangalam University, DBS Global University, Masters’ Union, IMS DIA, Pimpri Chinchwad University, University of Huddersfield, IILM University, BRDS, and Force Academy of Aviation, Space and Tourism. A total of 12 delegates interacted with the students, offering valuable insights into diverse academic programs, emerging career opportunities, and global education pathways.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Rahul, CIE Director, emphasized the importance of staying vigilant and adaptable in today’s rapidly changing environment. He encouraged students to remain aware of the wide range of courses available and to make informed decisions aligned with their interests and future goals.

Ms. Meeta Bandola, Principal, Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida, highlighted the significance of such initiatives in broadening students’ perspectives. She stressed that awareness about evolving career options and educational pathways is essential for success in today’s dynamic world.

The event was seamlessly coordinated by Ms. Ritu Datta, Senior Event Coordinator, who played a pivotal role in connecting and collaborating with various universities. She also underscored the importance of organizing such sessions, as they provide students with valuable insights into the changing dynamics of education and career landscapes.

The session was highly interactive, with students enthusiastically engaging with university representatives, asking questions, and exploring opportunities both in India and abroad. The initiative successfully created a platform for students to gain clarity, confidence, and direction for their future endeavors.

🌟 Morning Assembly Highlights – Grade 8 C 🌟

Jaypee Public School Greater Noida proudly shares glimpses of a vibrant and enriching morning assembly conducted by Grade 8 C under the guidance of Ms. Meenu Sharma.

The assembly commenced with a serene prayer, followed by the Thought of the Day and news updates covering national, international, and school highlights. Students showcased their talents through a Sanskrit shlok, an engaging French quiz, and a meaningful skit conveying an important message.

A refreshing yoga session along with insightful facts on protecting our Earth promoted wellness and environmental awareness. Special “Beat the Heat” tips shared by Ms. Mumtaz (Infirmary) added a practical touch.

The assembly also included a felicitation ceremony, followed by an inspiring address by the Vice Principal Ma’am, motivating students to strive for excellence.

The program concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone inspired and energized for the day ahead.

LKG class had a vibrant Earth Day activity where the children shared their knowledge and learnings !
We discovered that our planet is called Earth, it looks blue and green, and Earth Day is celebrated on April 22. The children understood the three Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. After sharing, the little ones recited pledges to keep Earth happy and safe: throw waste in the bin, keep our surroundings clean, save water, and save electricity. With big voices and bright smiles, our tiny Earth heroes showed that small actions make a big difference! 🌍✨

• *Collage-Making Activity*: Participated in a collage-making activity, learning about the importance of the 3 Rs – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle to help protect our planet.
• *Plantation Drive*: To make the celebration even more special, the students also participated in a plantation drive, gifting Mother Earth a plant on her birthday.
• *Group Poster Making* – “Bare to Life” Activity: There was a group poster making activity where the children had a bare tree. They pasted leaves on it and the tree came to life, turning a bare tree to a lively green tree.
• *Earth Day Pledges*: Children learnt about Earth Day and spoke various pledges on how to save Earth, like save water, save electricity, throw the trash in the bin, reduce waste, and other small steps to protect our planet.
• *Earth Craft with Fingerprints*: The children made Earth craft using fingerprints, creating their own little Earths with blue and green fingerprint impressions.
These activities helped our young learners understand the value of caring for nature and encouraged them to take small steps towards a greener and cleaner Earth.

These activities also enhanced their creativity and fine motor skills, built environmental awareness, and encouraged a sense of responsibility and teamwork. Speaking pledges and slogans helped develop their communication skills, confidence, and language expression, shaping them into caring little eco-warriors.🌱🍀🍂🍁🌿🍃🌎
