Students' queries are under process :-
There is a confusion about 50 marks paper.
It is to be informed that all 50 marks exam papers of AKTU are designed in 100 marks. This new change is done because in former UPTU the university was divided into MTU and GBTU, the course of both these university were same but paper pattern and credit (same subject in one university was 50 and in other was 100) was different.
To solve this issue the paper of all 50 marks subject in AKTU will come as 100 marks paper. During semester exam in examination hall the exam center will assist you. Remember
There is no official fullstop line for above notification.
Students are suggested to prepare all units accordingaly .

Time Strategy to solve Q A :-
1. For section A give 3 minutes to each question. 3X10=30. Section A will be completed in 30 minutes only.
2. For section B give 15 minutes to each question. 15X5=75. Section B will be completed in 1 hour and 15 minutes only.
3. For section C give 20 minutes to each question. 3X20=60.
Section C will be completed in 1hour only.
4. 15 minutes are still left for revision or attempting any left question.
5. This should be your maximum time to attempt to questions. If you able to attempt fast than you will be able to save more time for revision.
Benefit of new UPTU paper pattern:
1. Section A will give you more marks and scoring full marks in section A is not difficult.
2. Section B will be a mixture of 5 units and if you prepare only 3.5 units than the chance of attempting all questions in section B is more because you have to attempt only 5 questions out of 8 in UPTU new question paper pattern for session 2015-16 and later.
3. Section C will be of 30 marks and will be of long type answer. Most of the previous year questions will be in this section as per prediction so only section C will be enough to score passing marks.

Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) has changed the semester exam question paper pattern from this year. UPTU introduced the new pattern from this session 2015-16.
GUIDELINES FOR QUESTION PAPER
The following guidelines with new pattern must be followed for preparing question paper and question bank of UPTU for session 2015-16 and later:
1. Question paper should consists of 3 type of questions, short answer type, medium answer type and long answer type questions.
2. Paper will be divided into 3 sections- section A, section B, section C
3. Section will be of short answer type questions and will be of 2 marks each and there will be no choice in this section. All units of UPTU syllabus will be covered in these questions. It means nearly 4 marks from each unit can be scored in Section A without writing much.
4. Section B will have 8 questions of short answer type questions and out of 5 questions you have to attempt only 5 questions. Every question will be of 10 marks and after attempting 5 question you can score 50 marks from section B.
5. Section C will have 3 questions of long answer type and out of 3 you only have to attempt only 2 questions. Every question will be of 15 marks and after attempting 2 questions you will be passed means 15X2=30. 30 marks can be scored from this section only.
WORD LIMIT TO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS:
1. Section A will be of 2 marks/question and you have to give only one word to 30 words answer for these questions.
2. Section B will be of 10 marks/question and you have to give 250 words answer for these questions.
3. Section C will be of 15 marks/question and you have to give only 400 words answer for these questions.
How to attempt paper:
1. For section A give 3 minutes to each question. 3X10=30. Section A will be completed in 30 minutes only.
2. For section B give 15 minutes to each question. 15X5=75. Section B will be completed in 1 hour and 15 minutes only.
3. For section C give 30 minutes to each question. 3X25=75. Section C will be completed in 1hour and 15 minutes only.
4. 15 minutes are still left for revision or attempting any left question.
How to write answers:
1. Try to attempt section B first because it will be of Numericals and derivation.
2. Than go for section C because from our experience UPTU will divide 30 marks question to sub parts.
3. Than attempt section A, we say to attempt section A at last because if you attempt this first than we know you will waste more time on section A. Because it is a human nature to waste more time on starting questions while attempting paper.
4. Try to manage answersheet, don’t waste paper because in exam there is no provision for second copy. If your answersheet is full than you will not be able to attempt more questions.
5. In last 15 minutes try to sketch bold straingh line after every question.
6. In last 15 minute bold your answer no. also, because some time teacher who is checking you copy may skip the answer if you don’t bold the answer.
7. Don’t attempt single question again because you can’t make fool of faculty. During copy checking they will fill a sheet in which they have to write marks obtain by a student for every question separately, and if you over attempt the question than faculty will not wrote marks again and again for same question in the sheet provided to him.
8. If you over attempt the question than penalty marks will be deducted.
9. Try to write answer point wise because point wise answer will give you more marks.
10. Before attempting any numerical write all given data and assumed values.
11. Before attempting any derivation write all symbol meaning and assumption and theorem you use.
This is all we can give for your bright future, if you like this post than please share it.
