Proud moment for the Department of Electrical, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Sharda University!

Our students Ashish Sharma and Hargun Singh secured 2nd Prize in “VAAD VIVAAD: Battle of Words & Wit” at GL Bajaj College.

Competing on the thought-provoking topic “10-minute delivery: A revolution or a labour’s nightmare?”, they showcased exceptional critical thinking, strong arguments, and confident delivery.

Their performance stood out for its balance of facts, clarity, and impactful articulation, reflecting the true spirit of debate and intellect.

🚀 Industrial Visit | NDIC-2026
Students of EECE along with faculty members Dr. C. Mohan and Prof. Pradeep Kalaskar from EECE, SSES, Sharda University visited the “Advanced Manufacturing Technologies (AMTS)” sessions at NDIC-2026 held at Manekshaw Centre on 20th March 2026.
The visit provided valuable exposure to cutting-edge innovations in AI, Robotics, Quantum Computing, Digital Twins, Smart Manufacturing, and Defence Technologies. Students gained practical insights into the future of defense engineering and high-reliability systems.

🔌 Technical Visit to Substation Sharda

B.Tech -EEE 3rd year and 2nd year Students had an enriching technical visit to the substations at Sharda University, gaining hands-on insights into distribution transformers, switchgear, and protection systems used for line and equipment fault protection. The visit helped bridge theoretical concepts with real-world substation operations and enhanced practical understanding of power systems.

Jai Verma, Ashish Kumar Sharma, and Vivek Vishwakarma (B.Tech ECE, 3rd Year) attended the Advanced ESDP on Large-Scale Electronics Manufacturing at AIC IIT Delhi, Sonipat (8–12 January 2026), supported by MSME & NIESBUD.

The program offered hands-on exposure to PCB manufacturing, product scaling, and deep insights into the early-stage startup ecosystem, including policies and support from the AIC IIT Delhi Incubator.

👏 Special mention: Their startup idea was selected during the event, marking a significant milestone in their entrepreneurial journey!
