I have an MCA, but after my first child, I quit my job and took a career break.

When I wanted to start again, I didn’t have a clear path. So I started learning on YouTube, built two businesses, failed many times, and eventually took a job in fashion tech for eight months — an industry that had very little to do with my degree.

And this happend because I did not depend on being the 'qualified enough' for the new role I was aiming for.

Certifications can help, but they don’t guarantee a job. I focused on becomeing experienced and opportunites just came my way.

A career break can take you away from a job, but it doesn’t stop you from learning, experimenting, solving problems and building new skills.

A new era, demands a new direction. That's all you need to do to restart your career.

I used to think I needed to feel confident before I could start again.

I thought I needed to know what I was doing, feel sure about myself, and believe that I could actually make it work.

But over time, I realized that confidence does not come before you start.

It comes because you start.

Every small step gives you a little more proof that you are capable, and with every step, you start trusting yourself a little more.

So if you are waiting to feel confident before you restart your career or build something of your own, maybe you just need to take the first step.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to start. 🤍

I know; I've been there.
