On June 21, 2024, the Gujarat Institute of Development Research (GIDR) celebrated the 10th International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and participation. The event aimed to promote the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of yoga among the staff of the institute. A series of activities like warm-up exercises, various asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), and a guided meditation followed by video session were planned to engage the participants and deepen their understanding of yoga. To add value to the celebration, esteemed guests from Lakulish Yoga University Dr. Nehal Dave, Professor & HoD, Lakulish Yoga University, with Mr. Arvind Karotra (Research Scholar), Mr. Fenil Shah (Student), Mr. Akash (Student) were invited. Their presence and expertise significantly contributed to the success of the event.

The initiative was generously sponsored by the National Science and Technology Council in Taiwan, marking a significant gathering of thought leaders and practitioners from around the world.
