Buddha Institute of Technology, GIDA, Gorakhpur successfully conducted a Mock Placement Drive on 17 September 2026 for the B.Tech Civil Engineering Final Year – 2027 Batch.

The drive was organized to provide students with a real-time placement experience, helping them understand the recruitment process and strengthen their confidence, communication, technical knowledge, aptitude, and interview skills.

ONE-DAY HANDS-ON WORKSHOP ON “MACHINE LEARNING” | BIT

Buddha Institute of Technology (BIT), Department of Computer Science & Allied, Program: AIML-DS, successfully organized a One-Day Hands-on Workshop on “Machine Learning” on 25 September 2026 at Room No. 307, Block-2, BIT.

The workshop was conducted from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM and focused on providing students with practical and industry-oriented knowledge of Machine Learning concepts, techniques, and applications. The event was organized by the Skill Development Department under IntelliSkill , with an emphasis on developing students' practical skills in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
The workshop aimed to introduce students to the fundamentals of Machine Learning, including data preprocessing, feature selection, model building, training, testing, and evaluation. Participants received hands-on exposure to various machine learning techniques and tools used for solving real-world problems.
Through practical sessions and application-based examples, students learned how to prepare datasets, preprocess data, train machine learning models, evaluate model performance, and interpret results. The workshop also provided an overview of supervised and unsupervised learning approaches and their applications in modern technological domains.

A total of 72 students successfully completed the workshop, gaining valuable practical experience and enhanced understanding of Machine Learning and its growing role in today's technology-driven industry.
The workshop was coordinated by Mr. Birbal Kumar ,SD Head with Mr. Shrawan Kumar Pandey and Mr. Satish Kumar as Faculty Coordinators. The Student Coordinators, Gautam Nishad and Vivek Singh, also played an important role in the successful planning and ex*****on of the event.
The initiative was conducted under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Roop Ranjan, Director, Buddha Institute of Technology, and Dr. Shashank Srivastav, HOD, Department of Computer Science & Allied (AIML-DS). Their continued emphasis on skill-based education and industry-oriented learning is helping create meaningful opportunities for students to enhance their professional competencies.

📍 One-Week Workshop on “Total Station and Auto Level” Successfully Completed 📍

The Department of Civil Engineering, Buddha Institute of Technology, Gorakhpur, successfully organized a one-week hands-on workshop on “Total Station and Auto Level” from 24th to 29th September 2026 at the BIT Site, GIDA, Gorakhpur.

The workshop was organized with the objective of providing Civil Engineering students with practical exposure to modern surveying instruments, techniques, and field applications. It served as an excellent platform for students to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts learned in the classroom and their practical implementation in real-world field conditions.

During the workshop, students gained hands-on experience with Total Station and Auto Level, along with an understanding of instrument setup, field measurements, levelling procedures, observations, accuracy, and various surveying practices. The practical sessions enabled students to develop a better understanding of how modern surveying equipment is used in Civil Engineering projects.

The sessions were conducted under the expert guidance of Er. Hemant Singh, Director, RPRN Projects, who shared valuable technical knowledge, practical insights, and field experience with the students. His guidance helped participants understand the importance of precision, accuracy, and proper field procedures in surveying work.

The workshop provided students with an opportunity to strengthen their technical skills, practical knowledge, field-work capabilities, and confidence in handling modern surveying equipment. Such hands-on training plays an important role in preparing future Civil Engineers for professional challenges and industry requirements.

The successful completion of the workshop reflects the Department's continued efforts towards promoting practical learning, skill development, and industry-oriented technical education among students.
