The 72nd Foundation Day of Goalpara College was celebrated on 8 August 2026 with great enthusiasm and dignity.

The Chief Guest, Shri Saumyadeep Datta, founder of Nature’s Beckon, an independent environmental activist group working in Northeast India, delivered an insightful lecture on biodiversity and environmental conservation. His valuable insights and message on protecting our rich natural heritage were highly informative and inspiring, and will certainly be of great help to us.

As part of the celebration, 11 distinguished individuals from different fields of Goalpara district were honoured for their valuable contributions to society.

The programme was a memorable occasion that celebrated the college’s legacy while highlighting the importance of education, environmental awareness, and service to society.
