Mistakes are a part of learning
If the child has not followed the rule due to any reason, do not stress them into feeling guilty or making them uncomfortable. Sit with them, talk and let them know we all make mistakes. And that is fine till we don't make it a habit. In short, build their inner voice or conscience.
