IMS Ghaziabad (College Code-935), in association with Civil Defence Ghaziabad, District Administration Ghaziabad proudly hosted the global celebration of 11th International Yoga Day on 21st June 2025 at 6:00 AM, reinforcing its commitment to holistic health, mindfulness, and well-being. This initiative reaffirms our steadfast commitment to fostering holistic health, mindfulness, and overall well-being within the academic and wider community.
This year’s theme, “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” beautifully encapsulated the transformative power of yoga in nurturing personal wellness while fostering harmony with the environment.
Marking the 11th consecutive year of celebration worldwide, the event commenced with the live screening of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s address, followed by an engaging session of Yoga Asanas, Suryanamaskar, Pranayama, and Meditation.
We were honoured to have Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya Ji, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, as the Chief Guest at our prestigious event. CA (Dr) Rakesh Chharia (General Secretary, IMS Group of Institutions) welcomed the guests along with Shri Atul Garg, Member of Parliament. His visionary leadership continues to inspire excellence across the institution.
The institute echoed with the true spirit of yoga—unity, discipline, and serenity—while honoring its timeless philosophy and global significance. Dr. Pooja Rastogi, Director, Faculty and Staff of IMS Ghaziabad Group of Institutions along with 3000 attendees spent time in introspection of health and happiness for a better world.
