As part of the Udyamita Pakhwada celebrations observed from 9th to 22nd November 2025, the North East Regional Office Guwahati, Assam organized Entrepreneurship week on the 19th of November 2025 at CMTC Hall, Nalchar of Sepahijhala district.
The program was graced by Mr. Subhash Dutta, Additional District Magistrate, Sepahijala District followed by speaker of Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission who highlighted the crucial role of the people from villages to have an entrepreneurial mindset and expanding their markets to other states and also countries. Participants actively engaged in discussions on Social & Women Entrepreneurship: Inclusive Growth through Enterprise”, entrepreneurship opportunities, challenges, and support mechanisms available through various government and institutional initiatives. A total of sixty-five aspiring women entrepreneurs took active participation in the Programme and took keen interest in various topics and discussions.
The session which inspired participants to embrace innovation and social impact as key drivers of enterprise creation. This initiative was part of EDII’s nationwide celebration of Entrepreneurship Week, aimed at fostering innovation, inclusion, and entrepreneurial spirit across all regions of the country.

Organised by the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), equipping them with refined expertise in fibre extraction, material conditioning, structured product design, and high-precision artisanal fabrication.
