IIITG has come out on the 66th position in the latest NIRF rankings of engineering institutes. IIITG is ranked 4th best among all the IIITs behind Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Delhi.

IIITG is proud to recieve a project from SERB, DST India to carry out mathematical modelling towards tackling COVID-19. IIITG is one of the 11 institutions across the country to receive the grants. Dr. Surajit Panja of ECE department is the principal investigator of the project.

The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind. The new year marks a new start of a journey for all of us, a journey filled with joy, prosperity, happiness and sometimes, guilt and sorrow as well. But it’s all a part of the life we choose for ourselves.



The new year also marks the start of the winter semester for the academic year 2019-20. New year, new semester, new courses and new opportunities. Be prepared as vacancies have opened up in Technical Clubs and Cultural Societies. New learning opportunities await you. And oh! Did we mention we also have Yuvaan’20 in this semester? And also INIZIO’20? And also exams? Yes, they’re not going anywhere. So look forward to an eventful winter semester for academic year 2019-20.
