Technology Transfer Cell, Research and Development Cell in collaboration with ACIC SGT University organized “AI-Powered Solution Expo: Demo Days for AI / Industry 4.0 Prototypes” under theme Startup and Entrepreneur on 11th May 2026 at Block E, SGT University. The event highlighted innovative AI-driven and Industry 4.0 prototype solutions aimed at addressing real-world challenges. Participants gained valuable insights into emerging technologies such as automation, smart manufacturing, and intelligent systems from evaluators as well. A major highlight of the event was the enthusiastic participation of students through prototype demonstrations and interactive discussions. Innovators presented their pitch decks in the event. The ideas/pitches were evaluated by team of evaluators for several parameters. All participant received certificates of participation and winners were awarded with prizes. The expo created a collaborative learning environment that encouraged creativity, technical exploration, and problem-solving skills. Overall, the event proved to be an enriching and impact platform for promoting innovation, learning, and industry-oriented thinking among students.

The IDE Bootcamp 2026 at SGT University wrapped up on a high note after 5 days of innovation, collaboration, and learning. 170+ participants across 39 teams transformed ideas into impactful solutions through design thinking, business modeling, and product development. The finale Pitch Day showcased creativity, confidence, and structured thinking. Kudos to our Top 5 teams — Git Coders, Axiom, Sahaj Mind, ForkLords, and BETA VERSION! A big thank you to all mentors, panelists, and faculty for making this journey impactful.

Day 4 of the Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp 2026 at SGT University was centered around understanding the financial and strategic support needed to turn ideas into successful ventures.

The day began with an insightful session on funding and grants, where participants learned about various funding opportunities available for startups, including grants, seed funding, government support schemes, and investment channels. The session highlighted how securing the right financial support can accelerate innovation and help ideas grow into sustainable businesses.

Participants also gained knowledge about preparing for funding opportunities, understanding investor expectations, and building strong value propositions that attract support from stakeholders and investors.

Following this, an engaging mentoring session provided participants with personalized guidance from experienced mentors and industry experts. Through one-on-one discussions and feedback, they were able to refine their ideas, identify gaps in their strategies, and gain clarity on the next steps for their entrepreneurial journey.

The mentoring session encouraged critical thinking, practical problem-solving, and confidence in presenting ideas, making it a valuable learning experience for all participants.

Day 3 of the Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp 2026 at SGT University focused on bridging learning with real-world exposure. A key highlight of the day was the incubation and exposure visit, where participants explored how startups operate, grow, and sustain within an innovation ecosystem. The experience offered valuable insights into how ideas evolve from concept to ex*****on, and the mindset required to build impactful ventures.
Through interactions with startups and by observing real working environments, participants gained practical understanding of challenges, decision-making, and problem-solving in real scenarios. This also helped them connect their own ideas with real-world applications. In addition, participants continued their learning through sessions on revenue models, pitching, and transforming ideas into Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). These sessions helped them refine their concepts, strengthen their strategies, and move closer to developing structured, scalable solutions.
