Dear Students,

Exams are not here to scare you —
they are here to show you how far you have come.
At this moment, don’t think about the syllabus left behind.
Think about the effort you have already given.

15/01/2026

Dear Students,

Today, I don’t want to talk about marks, ranks, or exams.
I want to talk about YOU — your dreams, your strength, and your future.

Many students believe that successful people are born intelligent.
But the truth is — success is not about talent, it is about effort.

Every topper you admire was once confused.
Every achiever you respect once failed.
The only difference is — they did not quit.
Remember this:

👉 Failure is not the opposite of success; it is a part of success.

Shocking & Unbelievable Facts About Platypus
1. Scientists Thought It Was a Hoax
When Europeans first saw a platypus in 1799, they believed it was stitched together from different animals (duck bill + beaver tail + otter body).
2. It Is a Mammal That LAYS EGGS 🥚
Platypus is one of only 5 mammals in the world that lay eggs (called monotremes).
3. It Has a Duck’s Bill (But It’s Not Just a Bill)
The bill is actually a high-tech sensory organ, not for chewing.
It detects:
Electrical signals from prey ⚡
Muscle movements underwater
4. It Hunts With Its Eyes Closed 👀❌
When underwater, the platypus:
Closes eyes
Closes ears
Closes nostrils
It hunts only using electroreception — something sharks also do.
5. Males Are VENOMOUS ☠️
Male platypuses have poisonous spurs on their hind legs.
The venom:
Can cause extreme pain in humans
Painkillers don’t work properly
Can paralyze small animals
⚠️ It won’t kill humans, but the pain can last months.
6. It Produces Milk — But Has NO Ni***es 🥛
Milk comes out through skin pores, and babies lick it from the fur.
7. Babies Are Called “Puggles” 🐣
One of the cutest animal baby names ever.
8. It Has 10 S*x Chromosomes 😵
Humans have 2 (XX or XY).
Platypus has 10 s*x chromosomes — a mix of reptile and mammal systems.
9. It Glows Under UV Light ✨
Under ultraviolet light, platypus fur glows blue-green, likely for camouflage.
10. It Has a Beaver-Like Tail
Used to:
Store fat
Help in swimming
Balance while walking
11. It Has No Stomach 🤯
Food goes straight from the esophagus to the intestines.
No stomach acid. No digestion chamber.
12. It Is Warm-Blooded… But Barely
Body temperature is about 32°C, lower than most mammals (37°C).
13. It Can Sense Electricity Better Than Any Mammal ⚡
Its bill has 40,000 electroreceptors — more than dolphins.
14. Females Lose Their Teeth as Adults
Baby platypuses have teeth, but adults lose them and use grinding pads instead.
15. It’s Semi-Aquatic and a Powerful Swimmer
Can stay underwater for up to 2 minutes, diving repeatedly while hunting.
16. It Has Webbed Feet (But Walks on Knuckles)
Webbing folds back on land so claws can dig burrows.
17. It Is Older Than Many Mammals
Platypus ancestors existed over 100 million years ago, alongside dinosaurs 🦖.
18. It Sweats Milk and Glows in the Dark
Name a more confusing animal — impossible.
19. It Exists ONLY in Australia 🇦🇺
Found in:
Eastern Australia
Tasmania
Nowhere else on Earth.
20. It Breaks Evolution Rules
Platypus is:
Mammal ✔
Egg-layer ✔
Venomous ✔
Electro-sensitive ✔
Milk-secreting ✔
Reptile-like ✔
A true evolutionary mystery.
