Session 11 Successfully Concluded: Beyond Borders – Global Impact of IKS Then & Now
Satyug Darshan Institute of Education & Research (SDIER), Faridabad, in collaboration with the Council for Teachers Professional Development (CTPD), India, successfully conducted Session 11 of the 30-Hour Value Added Certificate Programme – "From Vedas to Vision: Reimagining Knowledge for the Future."
The session, titled “Beyond Borders: Global Impact of IKS – Then & Now,” offered profound insights into the global influence, relevance, and contemporary applications of Indian Knowledge Systems.
SDIER was privileged to host Prof. (Dr.) Shashi Bala, Dean, Bhavan's K. M. Munshi Centre for Indology, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, New Delhi, as the Resource Person. Her enlightening discourse highlighted the enduring contributions of India's knowledge traditions to global civilization and contemporary thought.
The institution was also honoured to welcome Dr. Abhilashaa S Gautham , Principal, Army Institute of Education, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, as the Guest Speaker. Her valuable perspectives emphasized the integration of Indian Knowledge Systems into modern education, research, and professional practice.

The summit brought together eminent education leaders, policymakers, academicians, innovators, and industry experts to deliberate on emerging trends, innovations, and transformative practices shaping the future of education.
A memorable highlight of the summit was the opportunity to listen to Shri Ravi Kishan, Hon'ble Member of Parliament, whose inspiring perspectives on education, youth empowerment, and nation-building enriched the discussions.

🎨🎶 Celebrating the Timeless Expressions of Indian Arts, Music & Cultural Knowledge 🎶🎨

We successfully concluded Session 9 of the 30-Hour Value Added Certificate Programme – "From Vedas to Vision: Reimagining Knowledge for the Future", jointly organized by Satyug Darshan Institute of Education & Research (SDIER), Faridabad and CTPD India.
The session, "Expressions of Eternity: Indian Arts, Music & Cultural Knowledge," was delivered by Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Assistant Professor (History), Department of Liberal Arts and Humanities, Chandigarh University, and UGC-MoE Certified Master Trainer (IKS).

Through his engaging and insightful presentation, he highlighted the profound role of Indian arts, music, and cultural traditions as carriers of knowledge, values, identity, and civilizational wisdom across generations.
The programme commenced with a warm Welcome and Opening Address by Dr. Jugnu Khatter Bhatia , Principal, Satyug Darshan Institute of Education & Research, Faridabad, and Director, IKS Circle, CTPD India. She emphasized the significance of preserving and integrating India's cultural heritage within contemporary educational practices.

The session concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Rupali Bahl, Associate Professor, Department of Teacher Education (B.Ed.), DAV PG College, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, who expressed gratitude to the resource person, participants, and organizing institutions for making the session a meaningful learning experience.
