AJNIFM successfully concluded the Management Development Programme on Infrastructure in India: Sectoral Studies (08–12 June 2026), bringing together officers and professionals from diverse organizations for a week of learning and collaboration.

The programme provided insights into India’s infrastructure ecosystem, covering transport, airports, metro rail, energy, ports, water supply, healthcare, smart cities, rural connectivity, infrastructure financing, and PPP frameworks. Participants also explored key initiatives such as PM Gati Shakti, National Infrastructure Pipeline (NIP), Bharatmala, Sagarmala, InvITs, and Green Bonds.

Interactive case studies, group activities, and project presentations enabled participants to gain practical perspectives on infrastructure planning, financing, governance, and implementation.

📍A moment of global learning and collaboration at AJNIFM!

AJNIFM, Faridabad, is hosting the ITEC Management Development Programme on “Big Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence in Public Administration” (08–19 June 2026) under the aegis of the Ministry of External Affairs. The programme brings together 34 delegates from 18 countries to exchange experiences, explore emerging technologies, and learn from India’s digital governance journey, reinforcing international cooperation and capacity building. 🌍🤝

She interacted with the Officer Trainees of the 33rd Professional Training Course from the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS), Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS), Indian Postal & Telecommunications Accounts and Finance Service (IP&TAFS), and Indian Cost Accounts Service (ICoAS) and shared insights drawn from from her distinguished career.

AJNIFM is currently conducting a Three-Week Induction Training Programme for the Accounts & Administrative Officers of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) from 18 May to 05 June 2026.
The programme is intended to strengthen the participants’ understanding of key domains of public administration and financial management, including government procurement, accounting, audit, vigilance, service matters, and e-governance.
Delivered through a series of expert-led sessions and deliberations by distinguished practitioners and subject matter experts, the programme seeks to enhance the professional capacity of the officers and facilitate the effective discharge of their responsibilities in furtherance of efficient, transparent, and accountable public administration.

AJNIFM inaugurated a Two-week Management Development Programme on “Understanding Various Facets and Nuances of Costing & Financial Control Analysis” for officers of the Indian Air Force, being conducted from 01–12 June 2026. The programme was inaugurated by Air Cmde S. Niyaz, in the esteemed presence of Wg Cdr Varun Sharma and Shri Varun Nayyar, IDAS, Programme Director.
The programme aims to strengthen participants’ understanding of government and defence budgeting, costing methodologies, financial control systems, data analytics, and contract management, thereby enhancing their capabilities in financial decision-making and effective resource management.
Through such capacity-building initiatives, AJNIFM continues to contribute towards developing a skilled, competent, and future-ready public sector workforce.

Arun Jaitley National Institute of Financial Management (AJNIFM), an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, invites nominations for the 1-Year PGDM in Government Accounting & Internal Audit (GA & IA) 2026–27.
