We at AID, Faridabad have pledged to bring education to the doorstep of every opportunity deprived child in the city. Our volunteers work round the clock to realize this objective and maximize our presence across various communities. We have adopted a carefully crafted approach in carrying out our mission and hope to bring forth positive change to the society through our actions. We initiate the e

stablishment of our schools by spreading awareness about education in the targeted community. The socio-economic status of these communities has been a deterrent in promoting education among the children and parents often lack the will to support their child’s education. Through our awareness programs, we intend to create a paradigm shift in the mind-set of these individuals and expose them to the advantages of having a good education. Our team of volunteers identifies families with children between the ages of 3-10 and those who have had no formal education in their lifetime. We then take on the task of counseling their parents and educating them about our model. We ensure that parents are fully aware about our methodology and it is absolutely essential to have their complete co-operation before embarking upon a life-long association with AID, Faridabad. SCHOOL ESTABLISHMENT

Once we have the support of the parents and requisite number of students, we scout for a qualified and dedicated teacher, who is capable of handling a classroom with students of varying ages and well versed with primary education. Our foremost challenge is to get these students at par with standardized education and subsequently kick-start their formal education at a regular school. Classes are held for four hours every day and students are taught subjects in the areas of Language, Science, Mathematics and Social Studies. We try to recreate the experience of a fully-functional classroom by teaching them standardized coursework, which is tailored as per the need of each student and carrying out group activities to foster close bonds among the student community. In our endeavor to provide the children with an experience of a lifetime, we make sure students celebrate their education like the rest of their peers, who are fortunate enough to study at full-time school. ADMISSIONS

We monitor the progress of each student and once we realize that a particular child is fit to be admitted in a regular school, the student begins the final phase of his or her journey with us. We find a suitable school and look for various avenues to fund the child’s education and needs. We make special efforts by serving as a liaison in between the school administration and the parents, and carrying out the necessary formalities. We closely follow each student, even after they have commenced education at a formal school and ensure that the child continues to gather quality education throughout his or her lifetime.

Volunteers required for our “Race to 100 project” to teach Physics, Chemistry and Biology to Class 9th & Class 10th students . You will help prepare students crack entrance exam for “Super 100 program” which provides free coaching to meritorious students for JEE and NEET.

What is “Race to 100” project?
We are handpicking meritorious Class 9th and Class 10th students across government school and preparing them for entrance exam for “Super 100 program”. Super 100 program has a very high success ratio and students once selected in program are provided free boarding, coaching for next 2 years with a clear goal of sending them to IITs, AIIMS and other prestigious institutions.

Which students do I have to teach?
You will be teaching very bright students studying in government school who can't afford tuition classes and often suffer due to lack of resources.

What are the timings?
Timings are flexible. You can teach them over weekdays/weekends for 2-3 hours per week

Here are the steps to get yourself Vaccinated :

1. Visit https://www.cowin.gov.in/home

2. Register yourself first with your mobile number, you'll get an OTP number on your mobile. Insert the OTP on the space provided

3. Add Members by entering name and ID details(Aadhar/Pancard, etc)

4. Then go to search. Search by DISTRICT and not by PINCODE

5. Slots open up primarily between 7 PM TO 7:30 PM. Keep Clicking on SEARCH Button every 30 seconds (Do not refresh the page as it will log you out) . You will be able to view available slots across Centers

6. Click on Booking and confirm registration on the center that is closer to your place. Even if the vaccination center is slightly far, do not hesitate to travel a bit to get yourself vaccinated
