Dear all,
We are delighted to have successfully completed our Two-Day International Conference!
First and foremost, our sincere thanks to our Distinguished Keynote Speaker Prof. Rup Kumar Barman, Honourable Vice Chancellor, Bankura University, whose profound insights and thought-provoking address have set the tone for meaningful discussions and intellectual engagement.

We are equally grateful to our plenary speakers Dr. Prasenjit Panda, Associate Professor of English, Guru Ghasi Das Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, Dr. John Charles Rayn, Associate Professor, University of Norte Dame, Australia, and Prof. Amit Bhattacharya, Professor of English, University of Gour Banga, Malda, who have shared their valuable research, perspectives, and expertise, enriching our understanding of the theme. Your contributions have been instrumental in broadening our intellectual horizons.

We are very happy to let you know that we have published the Special Issue (4.2._Detective Fiction Issue_December 2024) of Consortium: An International Journal of Literary and Cultural Studies.

We are indebted to Professor Pinaki Roy, Professor of English, Raiganj University, for accepting our invitation to be the Editor of this Special Issue on Detective Fiction. Without Professor Roy, we wouldn't have been able to think of this special issue on detective fiction. We convey our sincerest thanks and gratitude to him for his constant support and guidance. We believe Professor Roy's expertise in this area and insights into this issue will open up new paths for thinking on detective writing.
