🌾✨ Baisakhi Celebration at School ✨🌾

Our school celebrated the joyous festival of Baisakhi with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit. The entire campus came alive with vibrant colors as students dressed in beautiful traditional Punjabi attire—girls in elegant salwar kameez and boys in kurta pajama.

The celebration began with a special assembly where students shared the importance of Baisakhi as a harvest festival and its rich cultural heritage. Lively Bhangra and Giddha performances filled the atmosphere with energy and excitement, leaving everyone delighted. 💃🕺

Students also showcased their talents through poems, songs, and speeches, reflecting their love for Punjabi culture. The joy of the day was further enhanced with a special Punjabi treat, including delicious traditional dishes and sweets. 🍛🍬

Such celebrations play an important role in connecting students with their roots and teaching them the values of unity, culture, and happiness.

Guru Nanak Jayanti, also known as Gurpurab or Prakash Utsav, is the celebration of the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism and the first Sikh Guru. Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born in 1469 in Rai Bhoi Ki Talwandi (now Nankana Sahib, Pakistan). His teachings emphasize the oneness of God, equality of all humans, selfless service, honesty, and social justice, transcending religious and social boundaries.
