When patriotism meets discipline and determination, every step becomes a celebration of achievement. With pride in our hearts, dedication in our actions, and the spirit of victory in our stride, our students continue to bring glory to our school.” 🇮🇳🏆
On the occasion of the 80th Independence Day, a Constituency-Level Independence Day Celebration was organised at Rangpo Ground, with enthusiastic participation from several schools of the constituency. The celebration was marked by a strong patriotic spirit, discipline, unity, and a deep sense of pride for the nation.
PM SHRI Tika Lal Niroula Senior Secondary School, Central Pendam actively participated in the celebration with great enthusiasm. The school presented three contingents — the School Boys’ Contingent, School Girls’ Contingent, and NCC Contingent — in the March Past Parade Competition.
The students displayed excellent discipline, coordination, confidence, and patriotic spirit. Their hard work and dedication resulted in a proud achievement for the school, with the Boys’ Contingent securing 2nd position and the Girls’ Contingent securing 3rd position in the March Past Competition.
Trophy Handover and Principal’s Address
On 17th August 2026, the students brought the trophies to the school and formally handed them over to the School Principal, Shri Lekhraj Pokhrel, during the school assembly.
Addressing the assembly, the Principal congratulated all three contingents — the School Boys, School Girls, and NCC Contingent — for their commendable participation and dedication. He appreciated the students for representing the school with discipline, confidence, unity, and patriotic spirit.
The Principal also congratulated the winning contingents and encouraged the students to continue working with the same dedication and enthusiasm in future competitions.
He expressed his sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Area MLA, Shri L.B. Das Sir, for his valuable support and encouragement, and also conveyed heartfelt thanks to the organising committee for successfully conducting the Constituency-Level Independence Day celebration.
A Proud Moment for Our Dedicated Staff
The occasion also provided an opportunity to recognise the dedication and sincere service of one of our valued staff members, Mr Ganga Ram Pokhrel, Safai Karmachari, who was awarded by the District Administration in appreciation of his hard work, sincerity, and dedication towards his duties and service to the school.
His recognition was a proud moment for the entire school fraternity. His commitment to maintaining a clean, healthy, and welcoming school environment reflects the importance of every contribution towards the growth and development of an institution. The Principal, teachers, and students extended their heartfelt congratulations to him on this well-deserved recognition.
Continuing the Winning Spirit in Football
The school’s achievements have not been limited to the Independence Day celebrations. Continuing its strong tradition in sports, PM SHRI Tika Lal Niroula Senior Secondary School, Central Pendam emerged victorious in both the Under-13 and Under-14 Inter-School Football Competitions.
These victories are yet another testament to the talent, teamwork, discipline, and determination of our young footballers. The achievements have brought immense pride to the school and further strengthened its reputation in the field of school sports.

65th Edition of the State-Level Pre-Subroto Cup International Football Tournament 2026

PM SHRI Tika Lal Niroula Senior Secondary School, Central Pendam, has once again proved its excellence in the field of sports by delivering an outstanding performance at the 65th Edition of the State-Level Pre-Subroto Cup International Football Tournament 2026. The school team emerged as the State-Level Runners-Up after a thrilling final against Government Senior Secondary School, Namchi, held at the iconic Paljor Stadium.
The team displayed exceptional determination, discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the tournament. Although they narrowly missed the championship title, their remarkable performance has brought immense pride and honour to the school, the community, and the entire district.
Adding another glorious chapter to the school's football legacy, four talented footballers from PM SHRI TLNSSS Central Pendam have been selected on full scholarships by Pune Pioneer Football Club, one of the country's reputed football academies. This achievement is a testament to their dedication, hard work, and the quality of coaching and support provided by the school.

A Heartfelt Farewell to Our Esteemed Teachers

A day filled with gratitude, cherished memories, and heartfelt emotions marked the farewell ceremony organized by the school family in honour of our beloved retired teachers, Mrs. Roshan Sharma, Mr. Hari Kirtan Sharma, and Mr. M.P. Sharma, along with our transferred teachers, Mr. Song TSH Lepcha, Mrs. Malika Sharma, Mrs. Radhika Sharma, and Mrs. Tara Devi Sharma.

The school auditorium was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and graceful atmosphere befitting the occasion. Though the day carried the sadness of bidding farewell, it was equally filled with smiles, appreciation, and countless memories celebrating years of dedicated service to the institution.

The programme began with a warm welcome to the outgoing teachers, followed by a series of captivating cultural performances presented by students from the Primary, Junior, Secondary, and Senior Secondary sections. Through soulful songs, graceful dances, emotional speeches, and heartfelt performances, the students expressed their love, respect, and gratitude to the teachers who had guided, inspired, and nurtured them throughout their journey.

Addressing the gathering, the Principal highlighted the invaluable contributions of the outgoing teachers. He remarked that teachers who dedicate themselves selflessly to the welfare of students and the growth of the institution leave behind a legacy that can never be replaced. He expressed that their presence, guidance, and unwavering commitment would be deeply missed by the entire school family and conveyed his sincere best wishes for a happy, healthy, and fulfilling new chapter in their lives.

The retiring and transferred teachers also shared their memorable experiences, expressing gratitude to the school family for the years of support, friendship, and togetherness they had experienced. Their emotional words reminded everyone that while responsibilities and workplaces may change, the bonds built through years of service remain everlasting.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Bhuwan Dulal, PGT Economics, who expressed sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to making the farewell ceremony a memorable success.

The School Welfare Committee extends its heartfelt gratitude to every teaching and non-teaching staff member, students, volunteers, and all those who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the programme.

A special note of appreciation is extended to Mrs. Nanita Chettri, PGT English, whose graceful and eloquent hosting added warmth, dignity, and elegance to the entire programme. Her confident presentation, seamless coordination, and heartfelt engagement with the audience played a significant role in making the farewell ceremony memorable and meaningful.

The entire school family also expresses its sincere appreciation to our retired and transferred teachers for their thoughtful and generous gift presented to the school. It will always stand as a beautiful symbol of their affection and lifelong connection with the institution.

As we bid farewell, we do not say goodbye to memories, values, and inspiration. We celebrate the remarkable journeys of our respected teachers and thank them for the countless lives they have touched through their dedication, kindness, and service. Their legacy will continue to inspire generations of students and educators for years to come.
