About ICDCN Workshop SoCIeTY 2023:
The 2nd International Workshop on Societal Computing for the Internet of Things & You (SoCIeTY 2023) will be inaugurated in co-location with 24th International Conference On Distributed Computing And Networking (ICDCN 2023), and will be held at IIT Kharagpur, India on 7th January, 2023. The workshop aims to be a forum for the eminent researchers in the field of Societal Computing to present their research works, practices and methods, to promote networking and collaboration with peers, and to discuss the state-of-the-art research into IoT systems in the field of Societal Computing through invited position papers from leading experts within India and abroad. This will also help network with their peers and help establish collaborations. Societal Computing being an evolving contemporary multidisciplinary field providing innovative solutions to our real-life social problems, a number of challenging socio-technological concerns have evolved from the massive multidimensional dependence of the society on the IoT-based data-driven computation, which has instigated a direct impact on our society. This demands innovative solutions to ensure the sustainable coexistence of society and technology.
