To conduct training programmes for the unemployed youth and assist them in various jobs/service or business activities. To make safeguard policy for them and provide continuous support.

Just like no one needs to remind us to breathe everyday, similarly being inclusive should come from within and that is the world we want to see!
Let's take a look into how some giant brands came in support of Pride and what happened all over the world :
1) Netflix made a genre page for Pride month, including movies, TV shows, documentaries, GLAAD award nominees and more.
2) Oreo has brought out a limited-edition Oreo Pride Chocolate Sandwich Cookies, with 'PROUD' embossed on one side.
3) Apple has released Apple Watch Pride Edition watchbands for 2022. The regular Sport Loop features the word Pride "woven" into the rainbow band.
4) The Annual L.A Pride Festival and Parade that features Citywide events took place on Sunday, June 12.
5) This year, the Tel Aviv Pride festivities kicked off with Matinee's Pervert Party at Haoman 17 on June 8, and the Pride parade on June 10.
6) Attendees enjoyed four jam packed weeks of LGBTQ events including appearances of many stars and celebrities as well as the parade and party which travels down Oxford Street.
As we look towards the end of yet another pride Month, we on behalf of the entire Desire Foundation, feel an urge to speak out from the forefront that the people from LGBTQ are not to be sidelined from mainstream society. They too have the equal rights of leading an effortless life, be economically sustained, start families, adopt children and simply exist the way they are.

Across from the road
I Saw them, carrying loads
On their back, of books.
Shining teeth and Bellies full of food.
No one alone
Some with friends, some on imaginative throne
And all the spark in their eyes
I'll wear that cologne.
আমিও কবে ওদের মতো বই সাজিয়ে উঠব বাসে,
কেউ জানে না আমার মনে কত রঙীন স্বপ্ন ভাসে।
লাল সাদা ওই ইউনিফর্ম এ স্কুলের গেটে ক্লান্ত মুখে,
আঁচল দিয়ে মুখ মুছিয়ে হাতটা ধরিস ভিড় এড়াতে।
যারা তোকে নিতান্ত অবহেলায় হাঁটিয়েছিল অন্ধকারে,
গর্ব করে বলিস মা গো তোর ছেলেও ইংরেজি-স্কুলে পড়ে।
उनके स्कूल की घंटी से हमारी नींद खुलती है
उनके दौड़ने से हमारे मैदान खिल उठते हैं
और हम, आज भी घर में ही सपने देखते रह जाते हैं

A few glimpses of Project Aashi. We are glad to announce that we have successfully completed distributing all the kits to the little ones.
You truly made a difference for us and those budding children, and we are extremely grateful for the same!
These rustic glimpses narrate stories of self-reliant rural women🔥. The donation of 8 sewing machines and the cloth-sewing training of 25 women in the Kuldiha village of West Bengal with the support of several donors gave us hope in expanding the project of women empowerment further. We at Desire Foundation provided training that assured 'power through self-employment' for these women. 🤩

After a year-long session of numerous projects and events being coordinated over zoom calls and google meets, the 8th Annual Day of Desire Foundation was celebrated on 27th Feb - with a bunch of the team meeting offline, and the rest joining the occasion online!

It was exactly 8 years down the memory lane, when a bunch of college goers dreamt of a better and educated society, and led their dream towards fulfilment - that's when Desire Foundation was born.
8 years is a long span - ups and downs, successes and failures, ideas that got shaped, plans that went down - but the actual satisfaction came at that time, when, the child from the slum wore the ironed uniform to go to his school. Yes, all through these years Desire Foundation through its Project has successfully helped more than 400 children step into one of those dream English medium schools and get their futures secured into safe hands.
Besides the major project Adhyayan, other projects namely Sponsor a Child, Aakar, Aashray, Liter of Light and many more has ensured a sustainable life to all those needy ones from the darkest corners of our society, to whom the light of modernization didn't reach yet.
But our journey has only passed a milestone, many more years are on way to come!
