We are thrilled to announce that the IQAC Cell of the Department of Education, ABS Academy, Durgapur successfully conducted a Value Based Program with the objective of instilling and strengthening moral and ethical values among students. The program was designed to inspire young minds to reflect on the importance of values in shaping their character, behavior, and contribution to society.

The event began with a warm welcome address, setting the tone for a thoughtful and engaging session. The distinguished speaker Swami Divyagunananda ji Maharaj, emphasized how values such as integrity, empathy, respect, and responsibility play a pivotal role in personal growth as well as in building a harmonious society.

Students actively participated in interactive sessions, group discussions, and reflective activities, which enabled them to connect moral values with real-life situations. Their active engagement highlighted the relevance of value-based education in today’s world.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contribution of the resource person, faculty members, and the enthusiastic participation of students.

This initiative by the IQAC Cell, Department of Education, ABS Academy reflects the institution’s continuous commitment to nurturing responsible, value-oriented individuals who are not only academically strong but also ethically grounded.

ABS Academy solemnly observed the Death Anniversary of Kaviguru Rabindranath Tagore to pay tribute to the great poet, philosopher, and Nobel laureate. The programme began with the offering of floral homage to his portrait, followed by recitation of his poems and singing of Rabindra Sangeet. Faculty members and students reflected on his immense contribution to literature, education, art, and culture. The event served as an inspiration to uphold his ideals of humanism, creativity, and universal brotherhood.

ABS Academy, Department of Education commemorated International Yoga Day on June 21,2025 joining the global initiative to boost physical, mental, and spiritual wellness. This aligns with the United Nations’ vision and the Government of India’s theme for 2025: **“Yoga for One Earth”** .

Today, ABS Academy presents a tribute to Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social justice. Born on April 14, 1891, Dr. Ambedkar dedicated his life to fighting against caste discrimination and promoting equality, education, and human rights. Through this program, ABS Academy honors the legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and his lifelong mission to build a society based on justice, equality, and fraternity.
