SFI is the one of the largest students' organization in this world, and the torchbearer of democratic left students movement in India. SFI Durgapur East LC comprises of a huge area which includes both villages and township, schools and colleges. Bidhannagar, Jemua, DPL, DCL, MAMC, Sagar Bhanga are names of few areas within the LC.
