🇮🇳 Proud Moments at GHS Chilly Bala – Independence Day 2026 🇮🇳
The 15th August 2026 Independence Day Parade at GHS Chilly Bala was a magnificent display of discipline, unity, confidence and patriotic spirit. 🇮🇳
The parade was presented by four outstanding groups:
🥇 1st Group – ECO Group
Commanded by Rahil Sheikh
🥈 2nd Group – Wisdom Group
Commanded by Atiya Tabasum
🥉 3rd Group – Peace Group
Commanded by Asim Zarger
🏅 4th Group – Well Being Group
Commanded by Nadia Mir
All the groups performed exceptionally well and added great pride and glory to the Independence Day celebrations.
🎶 Special appreciation to our excellent Band Team:
Band Master Hamza Mir, Rehan Butt and Sujal for their excellent performance, rhythm and dedication, which made the parade even more impressive.

GHS Chilly Bala

An officer from 26 RR (Indian Army) visited the school and appreciated the students for their outstanding performance in the Campaign.

The officer felicitated the students with mementos, recognizing their efforts in spreading awareness against drug abuse.

A Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was successfully conducted at Government High School Chilly Bala with active participation from parents, teachers, and school staff. The main objective of the meeting was to discuss students’ academic performance, attendance, behavior, and overall development.
During the meeting, special emphasis was laid on the importance of the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan. Parents were made aware of the harmful effects of drug abuse and were advised to remain vigilant about their children’s activities and social environment. Teachers highlighted the role of families in guiding children towards a healthy and drug-free lifestyle.
Teachers also shared students’ progress reports and discussed areas needing improvement. Parents were encouraged to ensure regular attendance, discipline, and active involvement in their children’s education. Issues related to hygiene and co-curricular activities were also discussed.
The Head of the institution appreciated the cooperation of parents and stressed the importance of strong coordination between parents and teachers. Valuable suggestions from parents were welcomed for further improvement.
Overall, the meeting was productive and helped strengthen the bond between parents and teachers while promoting awareness about a drug-free society.
