In pursuance of directions from the District Administration Doda and in view of the prevailing inclement weather conditions, including persistent rainfall and forecasts of thunderstorms, necessary precautionary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Accordingly, all Government and Private Schools across District Doda shall remain closed on 4th April 2026.
This decision has been taken as a preventive step to safeguard the well-being of all concerned.
All Heads of Institutions are directed to ensure strict compliance.

Student of 12th class at Govt. HSS Ghat, Sahiba Parveen, D/O Farooq Ahmed Wani (Ghat) beautifully created a live painting of Muhammad Iqbal, popularly known as Allama Iqbal, during the morning assembly program. 🎨
Her artistic talent and creativity impressed the staff and students present in the assembly. The live painting paid a wonderful tribute to the great philosopher, poet, and thinker Allama Iqbal, whose ideas continue to inspire generations. The performance added a special touch to the morning assembly and was appreciated by the Worthy Principal and the school staff.
