Today, our students visited the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) office located at Kawakhali to participate in the Bharat Raksha Parv initiative organized by Dainik Jagran.
Demonstrating respect and affection, the children tied Rakhis onto the wrists of the brave CRPF personnel, symbolizing the bond of protection and gratitude. The students expressed their heartfelt thanks to the jawans for their selfless service and tireless efforts in safeguarding our country from every danger.

Group Central , Siliguri and children, leaving everyone inspired by the spirit of unity and national pride.

In response to the growing challenges posed by digital threats and cybercrime, Little Angels School successfully hosted a comprehensive Cyber Security Awareness and Training Program in collaboration with Pradhan Nagar Police Station under the Siliguri Metropolitan Police. The initiative aimed to equip young students with crucial digital safety knowledge, responsible internet practices, and preventive measures against online hazards. The interactive training session specifically addressed students from Classes 7 through 12, focusing on issues directly affecting middle and high school youth.
Students were encouraged to Manage privacy settings, protect personal information, and avoide interactions with unverified accounts.
They were given guidance on identifying phishing links, identity theft, financial scams, and online grooming.
Students were made aware regarding the psychological impacts of online harassment and the long-term consequences of a digital footprint.
Step-by-step instructions on how to use official cybercrime helplines and safely report online harassment to law enforcement were also provided to the students.
The resource persons from Pradhan Nagar Police Station Sub Inspector Sir Laksang Bhutia and assistant Sub Inspector Sir Tubai Roy engaged students through practical case studies, Q&A segments, and actionable safety tips.
Concluding the program, Principal Mrs. Radhika Sharma expressed deep gratitude to the Pradhan Nagar Police Station and Siliguri Metropolitan Police officers. She commended them for taking such a vital initiative to safeguard students, highlighting that early education in cyber hygiene is essential to building a secure digital environment for the youth.

Our school celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, joy and patriotic spirit. The celebration was a beautiful blend of tradition, talent, teamwork and the true spirit of being a proud Indian. The programme began with the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the National Anthem, creating a sense of pride and unity among everyone present. The unfurling of the Tricolour reminded us of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the responsibilities that come with the freedom we enjoy today. Our junior students added colour and charm to the celebration with their delightful cultural and patriotic performances. Their innocent enthusiasm, confidence and love for the nation made the programme truly special. The senior students celebrated the occasion with an exciting Girls’ and Boys’ Football Tournament. The matches were filled with energy, determination and sportsmanship, making the celebration even more vibrant. The highlight of the occasion was the inspiring address by our Director, who encouraged the students to understand that building a better nation begins with ourselves. He reminded them that we do not always need to make big changes; small, positive changes in our daily habits, behaviour and attitude can gradually make us better individuals and responsible citizens. The celebration was not just about remembering our freedom, but also about reflecting on our duties, responsibilities and the kind of citizens we aspire to become.

Byas Puja Utsav on the occasion of Guru Purnima at Little Angels' School.

Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal, organised Byas Puja Utsav on the occasion of Guru Purnima at Little Angels’ Senior Secondary School on 28th July 2026. The programme was conducted with great enthusiasm to celebrate the sacred Guru–Shishya tradition and to acquaint students with the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of India.
The event witnessed the participation of students, teachers, and members of the school fraternity. The resource person from Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal Shri Akshun Gaikwad ji , Purba Khetria Sangathan Mantri delivered an enlightening address on the significance of Guru Purnima, highlighting the importance of Indian culture, Bharatiya Sanskar, and the timeless values of respect, discipline, gratitude, and moral responsibility. The students were inspired to preserve these values and incorporate them into their daily lives.
The Director of the school Mr. Deepak Neopane also addressed the gathering emphasising the importance of Guru Purnima and the role of Indian values in shaping responsible, compassionate, and enlightened individuals. He encouraged the students to remain deeply connected to their cultural roots while pursuing excellence in every sphere of life.

Munshi Premchand Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school today to commemorate the birth anniversary of the renowned literary figure, Dhanpat Rai Srivastava, popularly known as Munshi Premchand.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and the offering of floral tributes to the portrait of Munshi Premchand. The junior section program was hosted by Sneha Sahani and Sreoshi Chakraborty of class V. The celebration featured a variety of cultural performances, including a group song, poem recitation, a meaningful skit conveying a valuable moral message, and a vibrant group dance.
The senior section also paid a heartfelt tribute through speeches, poem recitation, recitation of thoughts written by Premchand, group song and meaningful skit highlighting the life and literary contributions of Munshi Premchand. Shreya Gupta and Anushree Singh of class VIII hosted the event. The students displayed remarkable creativity, confidence, and talent through their performances.
The Principal of our school Mrs.Radhika Sharma addressed the gathering and spoke about the the life, literary contributions, and timeless values of Munshi Premchand. She also emphasized the importance of celebrating Premchand Jayanti in a meaningful manner to inspire students to appreciate literature, moral values, and social awareness.

Little Angels' School Senior Secondary paid a heartfelt tribute to the bravehearts of the Kargil War on Kargil Vijay Diwas. With pride in our hearts and gratitude in our souls, we remembered the courage, sacrifice, and patriotism of our Indian soldiers.Our respected Director Sir addressed the students about discipline, duty, and serving the nation with honor. Respected Principal Madam urged students to be responsible citizens and carry forward the legacy of our soldiers with hard work and integrity. The entire program was a solemn reminder that freedom comes at a cost, and we must always value it.
Our sincere thanks to the guiding teachers for making the observance meaningful.
The assembly concluded with a 2 minutes silence and Vande Mataram echoing across the campus.
