Three-Day Multilingual Resource Development Workshop Successfully Concluded at DIET Dhemaji
A Three-Day Multilingual Resource Development Workshop was successfully conducted at DIET Dhemaji from 16–18 July 2026.
The workshop was sponsored by Tata Trusts and implemented by Aide et Action, bringing together key stakeholders committed to strengthening multilingual education and the development of culturally relevant learning resources.
The workshop witnessed the active participation of representatives from Mising Agom Kebang (MAK), Sadou Mising Shikshak Somaj (SMSS), Ayang Trust, and TMPK, whose valuable contributions enriched the discussions and collaborative resource development process.
The sessions were led by Mrs. Mausumi Baruah Bordoloi, Principal, DIET Dhemaji; Mr. Junish Patir, Senior Lecturer, DIET Dhemaji; and Ms. Kakoli Pegu, Senior Lecturer, DIET Dhemaji.
The workshop was effectively coordinated by Mr. Indrajit Gam, Senior Lecturer, DIET Dhemaji.
The three-day programme reaffirmed the collective commitment of educational institutions, community organisations, and development partners towards promoting multilingual education, preserving indigenous languages, and creating inclusive learning resources for children.
Together, we move one step closer to making education more inclusive, contextual, and rooted in the linguistic and cultural diversity of Assam.
