Mr. Shashank Singh Karla (B.Tech 2008-12 Batch) and Mrs. Anjali Ghanshyam Lothe (B.Tech 202-16 Batch) Alumni of Department of Environmental Science & Engineering, presently at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) visited the Department, its various laboratories and ENVIS Centre on 6th November 2019. They delivered a Seminar on the topic "Vault-encapsulated Enzymes as nanoscale Environmental Bioremediation Agents" and had an interactive session with the B.Tech, M.Tech Students and Research Scholars.

Prof. M.K.Jain, Dept of Environmental Science and Engg, awarded with the Prof. H.R.Anireddy Award for Mining Engg Research for 2018 in the field of Environment concerning Mining and allied areas by THE INDIAN MINING & ENGINEERING JOURNAL.
