The Annual R&D fair 2025 organised by Industry Institute Interaction by Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad was held on 1st February. It was a showcase of diverse range of innovative projects from students and departments of IIT Dhanbad. The highlights of event were the racing car developed by Racing Electric,the Hexapod developed by the RoboISM - Club and a virtual tour of our campus by the Club. The fair helped people connect and share ideas, and showed everyone some exciting new research and technologies. DR. BVR Mohan Reddy sir, Founder Chairman & Board Member, & Chairman, Board of Governors, IIT Hyderabad and IIT Roorkee was the Chief Guest of Industry Institute Interaction 25. He had a brief, insightful exchange on cutting-edge research with dean IIE Prof. Alok Das.

IIT(ISM) Dhanbad made a remarkable impact at Inter IIT 13.0, held at IIT Bombay this December, securing an impressive 11th position overall among 23 IITs, with four teams finishing in the top 10 across various problem statements.

A major highlight was our silver medal in Zelta Labs (High Prep), where we secured 2nd place. We also earned top rankings in FedEx (Mid Prep) with 6th place, Bharatforge (Mid Prep) with 8th place, and Rigbettlelabs (No Prep) with 6th place.

At the Expo, our teams Team Spider (Hexapod) and Team Animation & Game Design impressed everyone with their innovative designs, showcasing our creativity and technical excellence.

This achievement reflects the dedication, innovation, and teamwork of our teams. Congratulations to all involved-let’s continue to aim higher and inspire with our passion and drive!

ETHIndia, held from December 6-8, 2024, at KTPO in Bengaluru, is a leading blockchain hackathon that brings together top talent to push the limits of Ethereum technology.

Among the standout participants from our Institute, Om Santoshwar was a 3 Track Winner and Finalist, earning a spot among the top 10 projects with his outstanding work. Ayush Ranjan claimed the Starknet Track Winner title, showcasing his expertise in blockchain scalability. Prateush Sharma won the PSE Track, contributing to Ethereum's privacy solutions.
