Pt.(Dr.)Sadanand Brahmbhatt is a young Hindustani classical singer of
Gwalior Gharana.
He acquired his initial training under the guidance of Late Pt. Radheyshyam
Dubey. Thereafter, he grew under the watchful eyes of the famous classical
maestro of Gwalior Gharana, Late Pt. Gopal Lakshman Gune. Here under
his tutelage and patronage he flourished to the fullest. Though a lifelong
learner, he learnt music for twelve years in the truly Indian GURU SHISHYA
PARAMPARA.
To learn the intricacies of Tappa, Dr. Brahmbhatt went to famous vocalist
Late Pt. Bala Saheb Poonchhwale and got his blessings.
Dr.Sadanand Brahmbhatt has performed on different stages of high repute
in country and abroad. He has been awarded with various honour’s
like Pandit Nikhil Banerjee Award , Sarvshreshth Guru award…..etc..
He is noted especially for his command over the Khayal genre. He has good
hand over ghazal singing too.
