✈️ He Had 30–90 Seconds. But He Saw Nothing.
50 innocent people didn’t die because a machine failed.
They died because two men — seated inside a flying command center — simply weren’t present.
Let’s be clear.
In aviation, you don’t “wait” to feel thrust.
You set it. Sense it. Watch it. Verify it.
From the moment full thrust is applied — typically 35–40 seconds before takeoff — the cockpit becomes a theatre of live information:
• Acceleration rate
• Engine pressure ratios
• Ground speed
• N1 and N2 fan speeds
• Distance markers
Thrust is not silent. Not invisible. Not abstract.
It’s a roar. A vibration. A pressure wave through your feet and spine.
And yet, the captain’s last words were:
"Thrust not achieved… falling… Mayday."
That means:
• He applied thrust.
• He didn’t verify its delivery.
• He lifted off with failing power.
• And by the time he noticed… they were already falling.
🧠 What the Mind Doesn’t Register, the Eye Cannot Read
This wasn’t a split-second crisis.
This was 40+ seconds of silence, blindness, and disengagement from not one but two professionals.
• No abort decision before V1.
• No systems cross-check.
• No intuition. No override.
• Nothing.
And outside, 50 lives were having lunch in a hostel mess — BJ Medical College.
A peaceful meal turned into a mass cremation.
Because the men in the cockpit were staring, but not seeing.
🛑 This Is Not About Blame. This Is About Accountability.
"1 plane. 1 job. 50 innocent deaths."
That’s not drama. That’s engineering, ethics, and duty — failed in full view.
We need:
• Transparent analysis of cockpit CVR + FDR.
• Mandatory post-thrust verification procedures.
• Cognitive training — not just procedural.
Machines may fail. But men must not go blind inside living engines.

📫 I THOUGHT BIOLOGY WASN’T FOR BRAINS. IBM THOUGHT OTHERWISE

In 1970, IBM conducted a scholarship test for children of employees who had passed Higher Secondary.
My father, a clerk at IBM Delhi, said, “There’s a test.”
I simply said, “Okay.”
I didn’t know what IQ was.
But I took the test — cleared Math, Physics, Chemistry.
A few weeks later, I got the letter:
📜 IQ: 150
📜 Scholarship: Awarded
Only 4 students across Southeast Asia were selected. I was one.
But I dismissed Biology.
“No real brain teasers there,” I said.
Decades later, in 2024, I remembered that letter.
And I laughed. Because now I know:
Biology is the math of odds, the physics of the universe, and the alchemy of God's play.
Today, I live in a rented flat. My monthly income? ₹8,000–₹10,000.
But I’m not the story anymore.
My students are.
📍 The jhaduwali.
📍 The bartan wali.
📍 The mother who once asked, “Meri beti suraksh*t hai?”
They are learning digital skills.
They are buying land.
They are building homes.
They are becoming fearless.

We had the honour of working at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, Riyadh (1987–1990).
It was, is, and will remain among the world’s fines medical institutions—where every department reflected global excellence and integrity in clinical care.
Today’s announcement reinforces Saudi Arabia’s position at the forefront of medical innovation.
