A Training Program on “Evaluation Scheme for Academic Tracks in Fourth Year - NEP UGCF” (University of Delhi) was conducted on 16th October 2025. The session provided valuable insights into the new evaluation framework under NEP, helping faculty align academic assessments with the revised curriculum and learning outcomes.

The NSS Unit of the Vivekananda College (University of Delhi) successfully conducted a Plantation Drive on 22 August 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of NSS volunteers, faculty members, and students. A variety of saplings planted to ensure ecological balance and long-term sustainability. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Binit Lal, who teaches Political Science at Nalanda College, Bihar.

Vivekananda College (University of Delhi) proudly celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event featured the flag hoisting ceremony, cultural performances, and heartfelt tributes to our freedom fighters. Students and faculty came together to honour the nation’s rich heritage and reaffirm their commitment to its progress.

A Health Talk on Hypertension and Mental Awareness was organised on 07 August 2025 at Sharda Hall (University of Delhi) from 11:40 AM to 12:40 PM. The one-hour session aimed to educate students and faculty members about the causes, symptoms, prevention, and management of hypertension, while also promoting mental health awareness. It emphasised the importance of adopting healthy lifestyle practices, managing stress effectively, and undergoing timely medical check-ups to ensure overall well-being.

The 85th Delhi State Annual Athletics Championship in 2025 was organized by Delhi Athletics, under the aegis of the Athletics Federation of India. The event took place at the📍 East Vinod Nagar Sports Complex in New Delhi from July 4th to July 6th.

In this competition our College's athletic student KAJAL SINGH , B.Com Program , 3rd year participated and performed her best . She won silver medal 🥈 in 800 metre race. University of Delhi
