MSc Nursing 1st year students of our College of Nursing had an enriching educational visit to the Delhi Nursing Council on 16 March 2026.

The visit provided valuable insights into the functioning of the council, including nursing registration procedures, professional regulations, and the role of the council in maintaining standards of nursing education and practice.

Our students had the opportunity to interact with officials and gain a deeper understanding of legal and professional aspects essential for their future roles as nursing leaders.

Academic Visit to All India Institute of Ayurveda

The MSc Nursing students and faculty from the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), New Delhi had the opportunity to visit the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi for an academic exposure program.

The visit provided valuable insights into the principles and practices of Ayurveda, its integration with modern healthcare, and the advanced research and clinical facilities available at AIIA. The students interacted with experts, explored the academic and administrative blocks, and gained a deeper understanding of holistic and integrative approaches to patient care.

Such academic visits help broaden professional knowledge, encourage interdisciplinary learning, and strengthen collaboration between modern medicine and traditional healthcare systems.

📍 Academic Visit to AIIMS – JPN Apex Trauma Centre, New Delhi
🗓️ 3rd February 2026
The MSc Nursing students of College of Nursing, ILBS had an enriching academic visit to the Department of Emergency Medicine, JPN Apex Trauma Centre, AIIMS New Delhi.
This exposure provided valuable insights into advanced trauma care, emergency preparedness, triage systems, and multidisciplinary teamwork in one of India’s premier healthcare institutions. The visit greatly enhanced our clinical understanding and reinforced the importance of evidence-based practice in critical care settings.
We sincerely thank the faculty and staff of AIIMS JPN Apex Trauma Centre for their warm reception and for sharing their expertise, making this learning experience truly memorable.

On 30 January 2025, MSc First Year students had the opportunity to visit Shanti Avedna Sadan, New Delhi

This visit helped our students gain deep insights into palliative care, the importance of empathy in healthcare, and the value of serving those in vulnerable stages of life — lessons that go far beyond the classroom.

On 30 January 2026, MSc First Year students visited the National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO), New Delhi as part of their academic exposure.

The visit offered valuable insights into the processes of organ and tissue donation, transplant coordination, and the vital role of NOTTO in promoting awareness and strengthening India’s transplant system.

MSc Nursing First Year students had a valuable learning experience during their educational visit to TNAI, Greater Noida on 28 January 2026.

They visited National Nursing Museum, the National Advanced Nursing Simulation Centre, and the DAKSH Lab, which provided excellent exposure to the heritage of nursing, advanced clinical skills, and modern simulation-based education.

The visit was an enriching learning experience, providing valuable insights into the role of professional bodies in nursing leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
