Not everyone is destined to be a leader—or are they?

It’s a common belief that leadership is a trait only a select few possess, but what if that mindset is holding us back? What if the barriers to becoming a leader are not about talent or opportunity, but rather the identity we’ve adopted over time?

This idea was at the heart of a recent session I conducted at HCL, where we examined leadership not as a title, but as a way of thinking and being. It starts with the understanding that anyone can step into the shoes of a leader by shifting their identity and embracing new possibilities.

During the session, we delved into the importance of breaking down the mental walls that confine us. When we shift our identity at the core level, even the most hardwired beliefs about what we can and cannot do begin to change. Leadership, then, becomes not something we’re born with, but something we can cultivate within ourselves.

The transformation we discussed isn’t about adopting a set of behaviors— it’s about a deep, internal shift. When you start to see yourself as a leader, you naturally begin to think, act, and influence like one. This mindset shift is powerful, and it’s available to everyone, regardless of their background or previous experiences.

The energy in the room at HCL was electric as participants began to realize that leadership potential lies within each of them. We explored practical strategies to align their daily actions with this new identity and how to continue growing into the leaders they are capable of becoming.

So, the next time you catch yourself thinking that leadership is for others, remember: it’s not about who you’ve been told you are; it’s about who you decide to become. Leadership is a choice, a commitment to your growth, and the impact you want to have on the world.

Are you ready to embrace the leader within you?✨

Another day, another workshop? Not at all!

It was an exhilarating, purpose-driven day—because when your purpose guides you, every session transforms into a meaningful journey.

What truly moved me was the warmth of the students, but what stood out even more was the principal of the college. When a leader is purpose-driven and inspiring, the session isn't just valued—it becomes transformational.

Principals typically don’t stay through an entire session, but I was pleasantly surprised to see her fully engaged and interested from start to finish.

As we explored the power of mindset, I was thrilled to see how just one session could ignite a shift in thinking. The impact is immeasurable, but the feedback and conviction in the students’ voices spoke volumes.

I am honored to have been invited as a resource person to speak on ‘The Power of Mindset’ at Satyam College of Education, Noida. Truly grateful for every opportunity that comes my way and for all the incredible people I meet along this journey!

P.S.: When you vibrate at a higher frequency, you naturally attract amazing experiences!✨

I worked as an Assistant Professor for four years, and during that time, what touched me the most was the profound responsibility of shaping the lives of the youth. The impact we can make as professors is immense and far-reaching.

Although the impact is subjective, the contentment I feel when, even after leaving the college, I receive calls from former students seeking my guidance and acknowledging me for their accomplishments is indescribable. Their continued trust and recognition reaffirm the value of the work I do.

Now, I see a similar impact on a wider audience at different levels. I was deeply moved when, after a recent training, students began looking up to me. This reinforced my passion and gave me undeniable proof that I am meant to be on this path.

Here’s a glimpse of the recent training program at Hinduja College in Mumbai! The students were actively participating and eager to learn and absorb the insights.

My heartfelt gratitude to the institution for the opportunity to connect with such eager minds and contribute to their journey of growth and learning.✨

When I was learning NLP, I realized how crucial it is to discover your core values because they drive you, your goals, your mission, and your vision.

For me, if growth is one of my core values, then contribution lies at the heart of it. In the recent social awareness program, I was not just humbled by the experience I had, but also by the profound humility of humanity.

Witnessing the collective effort, the shared enthusiasm, and the genuine desire to make a difference was incredibly inspiring. It reinforced the idea that our true fulfillment comes from serving others and making a positive impact on their lives.

The program delved deep into unlocking the power of the mind, emphasizing mental strength over physical prowess. We explored the concept of the inner she-wolf, symbolizing courage and resilience. Further, we delved into the significance of self-belief and self-love as foundational elements of personal growth.

Additionally, the program touched upon the importance of understanding and respecting personal boundaries, exploring how to create and maintain personal space in both physical and emotional environments.

Heartfelt gratitude to Creative Handicrafts and USDF (United Social Development Foundation), whose constant support and dedication made this event possible. Their commitment to social causes is a beacon of hope and a reminder of the good we can achieve together.✨

"We earn a living by the money we make, but we make a life by the service we provide."

The recent workshop at MMK College in Mumbai is an evidence to this higher purpose and greater goal. Having conducted the behavioral-based training, I was thrilled to see how well the workshop was received.

The engaging audience, the warmth of the venue, the professors, the coordinators, and the enthusiastic participation of everyone involved made it a memorable and impactful experience.

Moments like these remind us of the importance of our work and the profound difference we can make in people's lives.

2007! India had just clinched the T20 World Cup, and the electricity in the air was contagious. Caught up in the euphoria, I found myself belting out victory tunes. That surge of emotion wouldn't let go, so I channelled it into a song – I even recorded myself!

Now, full disclosure: I am not a singer. But hey, the spirit of the moment had me tapping into a creative well I never knew existed.

This is exactly what I've been witnessing all around me, on every platform since India clinched this World Cup. It's the spirit that unites us all, irrespective of age, background, or belief. It's the passion that erupts in a language everyone understands, the pure, unadulterated joy of victory. It's the exhilaration that echoes through every diving catch and every monster six, an evidence of the unseen dedication and hard work that fuels these champions.

Let this be a reminder that anything is possible with a potent blend of passion, perseverance, and unwavering belief. We saw the dedication in every player's eyes, the countless hours of practice, the strategic brilliance, and the constant belief in themselves and their team.

So, keep chasing your dreams, fuel them with these elements, and remember – the world might just be waiting to celebrate your victory dance (recorded song or not)!✨

In 2013, I enrolled in the Professional Dance Study Program (PDSP), an intense three-month training program.

Out of our batch, only three of us openly stated that we didn't intend to pursue dance as a career. Many people were amazed by our commitment to such a rigorous program, but I was determined to fully experience dance, thinking this opportunity might not come again. Not everyone wants to turn all their passions into their professions.

Although I was deeply inclined towards classical dance forms and still I am, I was eager to technically explore and learn other dance forms. I had been dancing since the 1st grade, but entering the technical realm of dance forms other than classical took my understanding to a whole new level. For the first time, I became acquainted with terms like pas de bo***ée, plié, pirouette, arabesque, and beyond.

Each day brought a new adventure: early morning yoga classes, mandatory ballet and strengthening classes, fixed hours to complete every week, a super-disciplined routine (not a minute late was permitted), practices for long hours, and long commutes just to satiate my hunger for dance. Gradually, I found myself drawn to contemporary dance form, only to realize that hip-hop was my true forte. Wow! That was a surprise I never expected.

Unless you explore, how will you discover your true calling or purpose? I always knew dance was my passion, but I never saw it as my true calling. Dance makes me feel alive, but it doesn’t drive me. When you start exploring, you begin to feel what exactly is for you in your mind and body—a sort of alignment, with every inch communicating, "This is it” (subjective experience though!).

So, never fear exploring and experimenting. Not everyone needs to follow a pre-defined path. As you journey, you can carve your own way. Even a wrong turn can lead you to the right place. Just START!

P.S. Here's a snapshot from the first day of the PDSP when we were asked, 'Who wants to take dance as their career?’

Yesterday, while I was taking a walk on the terrace, my father joined me, and we began having a delightful conversation. He then showed me a new skill he had recently mastered: walking backward. The way he demonstrated it was so playful, like a child.

I was amazed at how effortlessly he walked and even started running backward. He explained the benefits of backward walking and how it had helped relieve pain in his calves.

I was still marveling at how he managed to run so smoothly without bumping into any pillars or panels. Then he revealed his clever trick: he follows the divisions on the tiles and has already figured out when to switch to another division.

Simple, right? Sometimes, the simplest solutions can guide us through life's challenges. Just like my father's backward walking, with a little creativity and observation, we can navigate our paths with ease and joy.✨

Woah! Just one word can make a world of difference. It changes how we perceive life and how we live and enjoy it.

Even if things don’t go my way, I will still be okay.

Even if I get hurt, I will still be okay.

Even if I don’t achieve what I aspire to, I will still be okay.

Even if people disappoint me, I will still be okay.

Over time, we tend to pile up expectations of how things should be, sometimes letting these expectations become the benchmarks of happiness.

Break through this pattern by embracing flexibility and resilience. Let go of rigid expectations and open yourself to the unpredictable nature of life.

Remember, it’s not about achieving a perfect state of happiness, but about finding peace and strength even in the face of challenges.

Shift your mindset, and you'll discover that even if things don’t go as planned, you will still be okay.✨

P.S. This was my 4th painting that got spoilt, but I managed to create something from it. A gentle reminder that even a spoilt canvas can turn out beautiful.
