Thillana School of Music and Dance Thillana School of Music and Dance founded by Dr. Nisha Rani offers classes for Bharathanatyam, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi and Karnatic Music.

Be it Karnatic Music or Indian Classical Dance, Thillana School provides the best traditional training at your convenience. Thillana School is founded by Dr. N. Nisharani, M.A., Ph.D, a reputed Musician and Classical Dancer. She has been extensively trained in Indian Classical Dances and holds a Doctorate in Music from the University of Kerala.Her stage performances have been widely appreciated. Sangeet Natak Academy bestowed a junior fellowship on her in 2005 to conduct a special study on Traditional Dance Forms. She has trained a large number of students who excelled in various fora. presently, she has over 100 students being trained in Music and Dance. Thillana school is her new venture to promote Karnatic Music and Classical dance among the youth.

Very proud and happy to share the invite with you all to the Arangettam of the first ladies batch at Thillana School of Music and Dance.
The performers ; Chitra Girish, Jyothi Jayan and Kanchana Raj will be presenting a full Bharatnatyam Repertoire at the Karthiyayani Auditorium , Mayur Vihar 1 on the 15th of November.

It is a very rare sight to see a ladies batch performing a full Bharatnatyam Repertoire. Hats off to our Guru Dr. Nisha and of course to Chitra , Jyothi and Kanchana for their dedication and hardwork .
