COMBIZ - The Commerce Academic Society organized a Guest talk by Prof. Pankaj Vajpayee on the topic Opportunities and risks associated with numerous investment options on 13th January,2023.

Mr. Pankaj Vajpayee is a Professor of Practice (Finance and Entrepreneurship) at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology.

More than 300 participants including the faculty of the department attended the Guest Talk. In this, Prof. Vajpayee talked about the different investments options like Fixed Deposits, gold ,PPF, NPS, Insurance, Bonds etc. And risk and tax associated with them. Students came with so many queries and all the questions were answered quite well.
The event was successful under the guidance of our society advisor mr Rajneesh Prakash Verma.
It was an extremely informative and interactive session for the students as well as teachers.

Another year wrapped, and our hearts are so full! Cheers to everybody for making it to the end.

The whole online college pattern did seem disturbing when we ourselves stepped our foot in that shoe initially, but Combiz family was always there to drum up our enthusiasm, give a hand and get us going!

Special thanks to the seniors who worked as the demonstrator for their juniors. They have made a significant contribution to the growth of Combiz.

This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the constant guidance and support of Ms. Nalini Panda ma’am, Signatory and Ms. Khushboo Sagar ma’am, Advisor, Department Academic Society.

The Annual Day of COMBIZ- The Commerce Academic Society, was organised on 8th
April, 2021 from 1:30 PM onwards on Zoom platform.
Riti Kumar, the General Secretary of Commerce Academic Society marked the beginning of
the event by giving a warm welcome to the teachers and students witnessing the event.
Followed by the welcome note, Ms. T. Jeya Christy, the Teacher-In-Charge of Department of
Commerce released the issue 2022 of the Annual Department Magazine, 'BIZVISTAS' and
addressed the students. She gave her best wishes to the third-year students for their future
endeavours.
Mouli Jain, the Editor-in-Chief of the Editorial Board presented the magazine to the
audience. She thanked the team of Editorial Board, Ms. Nalini Panda, the Signatory and Ms.
Khushboo Sagar, the Advisor of the Academic Society and the Union.
Moving further with the event, Moumita Sen and Srishti, the Technical Coordinator and
Executive Editor respectively, presented the magazine and summarised its various sections.
Followed by the launch of the magazine, Ishika Mittal, the President of the Commerce
Academic Society, read out the Annual Report of the Department of Commerce and briefed
the audience about the various events, webinars, competitions and activities that were
conducted in the session 2021–22. She gave her President’s note in which she shared her
journey of being a part of COMBIZ. She concluded it by thanking all the faculty members
and the team.
A presentation introducing all the members of the union was done. Samagya Bharara, the
Joint Secretary of the Commerce Academic Society introduced the Office Bearers,
Organising Committee, Editorial Team, Technical Team, Social Media Coordinators and
Alumna Committee members.
Riti Kumar announced the winners of various competitions that were held during the session.
Samagya Bharara concluded the event by thanking everybody for attending it. She also
wished the graduating batch of 2022 best of luck for their journey ahead in life.
The event wounded up with the vote of thanks given by Ms. Nalini Panda, who felicitated
everyone for putting up the great event. She wished the final year students good luck for their
exams and for all their future ventures as well.
195 participants including the department teachers attended the event.
