Prayaas: The Eco-Club of IIITD

Prayaas: The Eco-Club of IIITD organised a cleanliness drive on 2nd of October. It saw a huge participation from students, staff and faculties.

We cleaned the area outside Gate No 3 (gate towards the Govindpuri metro station). After cleaning this area, volunteers went to meet residents of Shyam Nagar (houses on the road around the boundary wall of the institute), handed them fliers, and urged them to throw garbage in the dustbin only and not litter around. Some posters were also put to give the message of Swachhta.

There was an overwhelming response for the Blood Donation Camp held at IIIT Campus today. We thank all donors who turned out in very good numbers. There were more than 140 successful Blood Donations. We thank Lions Blood Bank for collaborating with PRAYAAS. A special thanks to organizer Gyanesh Anand and the volunteers Himanshu Yadav , Garvita Jain and Aman Roy.
