There are many principles of Development like the principle of continuity, the principle of individual differences or principal of the uniform developmental pattern etc.

Out of which principle of developmental direction shows that the development proceeds in the direction of the longitudinal axis such as head to foot.
And this is known as the cephalocaudal sequence.

It also shows another pattern such as the proximodistal sequence in which development proceeds from near to far.

It also follows a certain pattern when it comes to functioning.

The cephalocaudal pattern is where the greatest development takes place at the top of the body, i.e. the head, and physical development moves gradually downwards, e.g. neck, shoulders, trunk, etc.

It's a developmental pattern. It also follows a functional pattern

It means an infant will gain control over their neck muscles first, which allows them to hold their head steady. (Functioning of the parts of the body! )

The term 'gifted and talented,' when used concerning students, children or youth, means students, children or youth who give evidence of high achievement capability in areas such as intellectual, creative, artistic, or leadership capacity, or in specific academic fields, and who need services or activities not ordinarily provided by the school to fully develop those capabilities." (Marland, 1971)

When discussing the traits of gifted children, we must understand that any one of these characteristics may be comprising or not present—there are so many variables at function.

What is learned helplessness?

Learned helplessness occurs when an individual continuously faces a negative, uncontrollable situation and stops trying to change their circumstances, even when they can do so.

When a Child is not able to face the negativity and this is repeated for a long while, he will eventually acquire behaviour, where he starts believing that He Won't Succeed At All.

When a child is not able to do what other students can do in Group activities, and when this happens for a long while, he will start developing a sense of Learned helplessness.

Remedial programs are designed to close the gap between what a student knows and what he’s expected to know.

In many cases, students are removed from their regular classroom and taught in another setting.

I.e Pull Out and Push-In approach.

But some students may not make progress in remedial programs. This could be a sign of a  learning disability.

And students who have a learning disability are more likely to require more specialized instruction.

-What is Dysgraphia?

Dysgraphia is a neurological disorder that generally appears when children are first learning to write.

Dysgraphia can appear as difficulties with spelling and/oo put putting thoughts on paper

-What causes dysgraphia?

When dysgraphia develops in adults, the cause is usually a stroke or other brain injury. In particular, injury to the brain's left parietal lobe may lead to dysgraphia

-Can we diagnose it?

For years, dysgraphia was an official diagnosis. It no longer is.

But there is a diagnosis called Specific Learning Disorder with impairment in written expression.

This refers to trouble expressing thoughts in writing, rather than transcription difficulties.
While letter formation and other types of motoric dysgraphia can be diagnosed at the age of five or six years old.

Remedial programs offer more individualized instruction than full class instruction.

These students qualify for remediation because of their poor performance in particular areas. This instruction can be provided in different ways.

There are many types of remedial support can be used in coexistence or individually to help students catch up to age-appropriate measures.

Differentiated instruction is also known as differentiated learning

This in the classroom can be done several ways.
Examples - Grouping, varying amounts of time, or changing the task are the most common types of differentiation.

The teachers differentiate content, process, products, or the learning environment, the use of ongoing assessment and flexible grouping makes this a successful approach to instruction.
